  • Publication number: 20160298823
Abstract: A light emitting module includes a lens and first and second light sources aligning with the lens. The lens includes a first biconcave section having a first light-entrance concave surface and a first light-exit concave surface, a second biconcave section having a second light-entrance concave surface and a second light-exit concave surface, and a shared section having a light-exit shared surface. A tangent slope of the shared section where the light-exit shared surface is connected to the first light-exit concave surface is less than a tangent slope of the first biconcave section where the first light-exit concave surface is connected to the light-exit shared surface. A tangent slope of the shared section where the light-exit shared surface is connected to the second light-exit concave surface is larger than a tangent slope of the second biconcave section where the second light-exit concave surface is connected to the light-exit shared surface.

  • Patent number: 9456127
Abstract: A monitoring device, system, and blur detection method of images separate a monitored area into an in-focus area and an out-of-focus area after focusing is done and then analyze the following captured images for how the blocks that makes up the in-focus area change in the blurriness and the proportion of the blocks with changed blurriness to overall blocks in the in-focus area. When the proportion of a captured image meets a specific condition, the captured image is then determined as a blur image. A consecutive number of determined blur images will trigger an auto focus procedure.

  • Patent number: 9439261
Abstract: A light compensating system in accordance with this invention comprises a plurality of light emitting devices, an image capturing device, and a processing device. The processing device is respectively coupled to the plurality of light emitting devices and the image capturing device. Each light emitting device is used for emitting light to illuminate a certain area in space. The image capturing device is used for capturing a first image, which can be defined as a plurality of image blocks. Each image block is affected by the light from at least one corresponding light emitting device. The processing device is used for analyzing a brightness value of at least one of the plurality image block and adjusting at least one light emitting device corresponding to the analyzed image block based on the brightness value.

  • Patent number: 9325910
Abstract: The disclosure provides a photographing device which includes a main body, an image capturing module, a lighting module and a reflection module. The main body includes a substrate. The image capturing module is disposed on the main body. The lighting module is disposed on the substrate. The reflection module includes a cover movably disposed on the main body, for making the cover have a first position and a second position relative to the main body. The cover includes a first reflecting component and a second reflecting component. The first and the second reflecting components are adapted to make beams emitted from the lighting module form a first illumination and a second illumination field when the cover is located at the first position and the second position respectively. Accordingly, the lighting module has at least two illumination fields different from each other.

  • Publication number: 20160037041
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an adaptive illumination apparatus and an adaptive illumination method. The adaptive illumination apparatus is associated with a target scene and comprises a control module and an illumination module. The control module is configured to generate a command associated with an area included in the target scene. Specifically, the control module selects the area and determines a scope and a direction associated therewith based on a brightness distribution of the target scene, receives a distance parameter associated with a distance between the area and the illumination module, and indicates said scope, direction and distance parameter in the command. The illumination module, coupled with the control module, is capable of panning, tilting, and zooming. Based on the command, the illumination module performs panning, tilting, or zooming and illuminates the area.

  • Publication number: 20150192270
Abstract: An illumination device includes a light source and a reflective cup. The light source is for emitting a first beam and a second beam. A light intensity of the first beam is greater than a light intensity of the second beam. The reflective cup has a plurality of reflecting curved surfaces and a through hole formed by the plurality of reflecting curved surfaces. Each reflecting curved surface has a first reflective section and a second reflective section. A slope of the first reflective section is different from a slope of the second reflective section. The first beam is reflected to an off-axis region by the first reflective section. The second beam is reflected to a paraxial region by the second reflective section, such that a light intensity in the off-axis region is greater than a light intensity in the paraxial region.
