    Abstract: The disclosure provides a voltage testing device and a method. A voltage testing device includes a PCB, a computer, and a detecting chip. The PCB includes a CPU socket, a signal producing chip, and a voltage regulator. The computer sets predetermined data. The detecting chip is inserted in the CPU socket. The detecting chip includes a reading module, a converting module, a sending module, and a control module. The signal producing chip sends a start-up signal to the control module. The converting module converts the predetermined data to SVID data. The sending module sends the SVID data to the voltage regulator. The voltage regulator sends a CPU voltage to the CPU socket. The voltage value testing device calculates a value of the CPU voltage to determine if the value of the CPU voltage associates with a voltage corresponding to the predetermined data.

The programmable logic device is configured to detect the warning signal and send an interrupt signal to the baseboard management controller after the warning signal is detected. The baseboard management controller is configured to send a notification signal to the basic input output system after receiving the interrupt signal. The basic input output system is configured to retrieve the error and correct the error after receiving the notification signal.

The PLD sends the information read from the plurality of devices to the host computer. The host computer analyses the information and display a test result. The control module receives the first falling-edge and sends a second falling-edge to the ACPI controller according to the status signal after receiving the status signal. The ACPI controller sends a control signal to the power supply to enable the power supply to change from a first status to a second status. The control module sends a second rising-edge to the ACPI controller before receiving the first rising-edge when the power supply is in the second status.

The data collection card reduces the frequencies of the high-speed signals transmitted from the delay chip and transmits the high-speed signals with reduced frequencies to the computer.     Abstract: A testing method for a fan module is provided. When the fan module is tested, a testing computer sends a testing command to a testing device first. Then, the testing device responds to the testing command and controls the fan module to work in a plurality of rotational speed modes in sequence. The testing device reads an actual rotational speed when the fan module works in one of the rotational speed modes and sends the actual rotational speed back to the testing computer. The testing computer compares the actual rotational speed with a corresponding reference rotational speed value stored in the testing computer, and determines the testing result. Finally, the testing result is shown.
