  • Publication number: 20160133353
Abstract: A multilayer composite conductor comprises an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer comprises at least one wire which has a conductivity of 60% to 70% IACS as a core of the multilayer composite conductor; wherein a volume of the inner layer is 40% to 55% of a total volume of the multilayer composite conductor; and the outer layer comprises multiple wires which have a conductivity of 70% to 98% IACS, and the outer layer is wound around the inner layer; wherein a volume of the outer layer is 45% to 60% of the total volume of the multilayer composite conductor. In another aspect, the present invention also provides a method for manufacturing a multilayer composite conductor. At the same current-carrying surface, the multilayer composite conductor of the present invention saves more than 60% of copper usage, thereby achieving light weight and low cost.

  • Patent number: 8586868
Abstract: A cable has a conductor keeper, multiple bare conductors, a dielectric tape, a plastic jacket and two copper cylinders. The conductor keeper has multiple grooves. Each bare conductor is mounted in a corresponding groove of the conductor keeper and has a first end and a second end. The first end and second end of the bare conductor protrude out of the conductor keeper respectively so as to form two spaces. The dielectric tape is wrapped around the conductor keeper. The plastic jacket is coated around the dielectric tape. Two copper cylinders are mounted in the spaces of the bare conductors respectively to make the bare conductors surround the copper cylinders and the bare conductors connect to each other in parallel. Therefore, the skin effect is minimized and the bare conductors are efficient in that power consumption and emission of carbon dioxide during copper-smelting are significantly reduced.

  • Patent number: 6594536
Abstract: A method and computer program for dynamic matching of wafer lots waiting for processing and available tools to maximize wafer output. Wafer lot information and tool capability and availability is provides. Priority wafer lots are processed first. All permutations of the remaining non priority lots and available tools are then formed. The longest process time for each permutation is then calculated. A permutation wafers per hour, PWPH, equal to the total number of wafers processed for each permutation divided by the longest process time for that permutation is calculated. If only one permutation has the highest PWPH that permutation is selected for processing. If more than one permutation has the highest PWPH the total wafers per hour, TWPH, equal to the sum of the wafer per hour capability of each tool in the permutation is calculated for those permutations. Any permutation with the highest PWPH and TWPH is selected for processing.

  • Patent number: 5738435
Abstract: A waterproof lampholder is provided. The lampholder comprises a lamp receptacle and a cap member. An annular extension is formed at an internal wall and adjacent a trumpet opening of the lamp recceptacle engageable with an outer periphery of a bulb for preventing external water from permeating into the forward end of the lampholder. An inverse V-shaped annular projection is in the bottom of the lamp receptacle aligned with a V-shaped annular groove formed in the inward surface of the cap member for preventing external water from permeating into the rearward end of the lamp receptacle. A pair of slotted projections on the cap member is aligned with a pair of M-shaped slots in the bottom of the lamp receptacle to define a pair of juxtaposed circular spaces for receiving a two-ply electrical cable which also provides waterproof function. Upon this arrangement, the present invention will no longer be causing an short circuit or an electric shock while raining or using a sprinkle in a yard.
