    Abstract: A weaving machine for weaving a three-dimensional distance woven fabric including two outer fabrics and inter-yarns connected with the outer fabrics is provided. The weaving machine includes a warp let-off mechanism, heald frames, a picking mechanism, a beating-up mechanism, a yarn raising mechanism, and a take-up mechanism. The warp let-off mechanism includes at least two warp beams for providing and transferring warps. A plurality of vertically arranged heald wires are supported by each of the heald frames, wherein each of the heald wires has a heald eye for the warps passing through. The warps are driven and divided into two warp layers by the heald frames such that a shed is formed between the two warp layers. The picking mechanism transfers wefts to pass through the shed. The yarn raising mechanism is suitable for passing through the shed and raising parts of the warps functioning as the inter-yarns.

    Abstract: A fabricating method for patterned sapphire substrate is provided. The fabricating method includes the following processes. First, a sapphire substrate is provided, and a mask layer is formed on the sapphire substrate, wherein the mask layer with appropriate pattern exposes a part of the sapphire substrate. Then, a wet etching process is performed to remove the exposed part of the sapphire substrate, wherein an etchant in the wet etching process includes sulfuric acid and the mixture of the sulfuric acid and the phosphoric acid. Next, the mask layer is removed to form the patterned sapphire substrate. Further, a fabricating method for light-emitting diode is provided.

    Abstract: In a process of molding and assembling a three-dimensional ornament, a mold having a recess in which is formed an opening is provided. A molding pattern is located inside the opening. A first material fills in the molding pattern to form a plurality of protruded decoration patterns. Then, a second material is charged in the opening and the recess of the mold over the first material to respectively form a projection and a contact wall which together form an embossment. The embossment then is removed from the mold. The embossment then is mounted inside a hollow pen tube in a manner that the projection fits in a sidewall opening of the pen tube and the protruded decoration patterns protrude from the sidewall opening. A sleeve is inserted in the hollow pen tube to urge the contact wall of the embossment against the wall of the hollow pen tube.
