Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode for a source of field emitting electrons and a lighting panel and a lighting apparatus thereof. A plurality of conductive emitters made from a combination of an electrical emitting source material and an electrical conductive material is formed on a cathode plate. Therefore, the conductive emitter can be a cathode, a gate and a field emitting electric source as well to simplify the structure and the process, and improve the brightness and uniformity thereof.

Abstract: This present invention relates to a method for driving a circuit of a field emission backlight panel. A group of driving signals with phase shift is sent to a plurality of emitters of a field emission display panel to control the emitters to emit electrons alternately. Therefore, the lighting area of the field emission display panel is increased, and so are the brightness and the uniformity thereof.

Abstract: A display device, a back light thereof, and a method of driving the back light are disclosed in the present invention. A field emitting back light plate is used as a back light module of a passive light-emitting display device in the present invention. Because various video signals are produced in different timing, the brightness of the light and the lightening region are controlled in accordance with the video signals in the timing. Hence, the power consumption of the back light in the display device is decreased. Besides, the contrast of the display device is increased, and the life-span of the back light is lengthened.
