    Abstract: A temperature monitoring apparatus and a battery module having the temperature monitoring apparatus. The temperature monitoring apparatus comprises an isolation plate, a connecting aluminum bar, a flexible printed circuit board, and a temperature measuring assembly. A first mounting frame and a second mounting frame are provided on the isolation plate. The connecting aluminum bar is embedded in the first mounting frame. The flexible printed circuit board is laid on the surface of the isolation plate in a manner of partially overlapping with the second mounting frame. The temperature measuring assembly is provided on the part of the flexible printed circuit board where the flexible circuit board overlaps the second mounting frame.

The biological samples are pancreatic islets and stem cell derived islets. Methods for cryopreservation of islets using cryomesh and multi-step loading and unloading of CPA cocktails are provided. Methods disclosed result in vitrified and rewarmed islets with high recovery, viability and functionality. Methods are scalable for high throughput production of large amounts of vitrified and rewarmed islets for use in therapeutic transplantation.

The biological samples are embryos, such as Drosophila embryos. Methods for cryopreservation of Drosophila embryos using cryomesh are provided. The Drosophila embryos are collected, staged and treated to optimize the cryopreservation outcomes upon rewarming. Methods disclosed are efficient for maintaining stocks of Drosophila wild type and mutant strains. Methods are also disclosed for cryopreservation of other terrestrial organism embryos and/or aquatic organism embryos.

    Abstract: A cryopreservation system for biological samples is provided. Tire cryopreservation system includes a cooling platform 100 with a 3D printing device that enables a “pick and print” method for processing biological samples 140 for cryopreservation. A syringe or syringes 110 in the 3D printing device picks up biological samples and prints them into a cryogenic environment. A sorting station 200 sorts vitrified samples from unvitrified samples. A warming platform 300 warms the samples using a laser warming system. The cryopreservation system with the sorting station and warming platform are configured for high throughput. Methods for cooling, sorting and warming the biological samples in a high throughput manner are also provided.

A device for carrying out the method is disclosed. The method and the device reduce the processing steps.
