The second electronic device is a group client (GC) of Wi-Fi Direct. The second electronic device may send a first request message to the first electronic device to trigger the first electronic device to enable Wi-Fi link sleep. When a wireless projection service is suspended, a Wi-Fi link used for wireless projection enters a low-power state in a timely manner. When the Wi-Fi direct link sleeps, the second electronic device may send a wake-up request message to the first electronic device to trigger the first electronic device to wake up the Wi-Fi link.
