  • Patent number: 12078768
Abstract: A system (100) for attaching devices of subsea equipment to a line (10) comprising a line holding mechanism (11,110) and a line holding unit (404). The line holding unit (404) comprises a 5 longitudinal slit (403) for receiving the line (10), multiple gripping elements (13,130,230), and at least one resilient element (12,120,220), related to one subsea device. The resilient element(s) is/are configured to force the multiple gripping elements (13; 130,230) in a direction towards the line (10), whereby the line holding unit (404) is locked to the line (10) in a locking position. By the invention an improved latching device and an accompanying system for attaching and 10 detaching subsea equipment to and from a line is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20210263174
Abstract: A seismic node (1) for an ocean bottom seismic survey comprising: At least one seismic sensor capsule (2), a seafloor casing (6) comprising a lower surface configured to make contact with a seabed. The seismic sensor capsule (2) comprises first engagement means; the seafloor casing (6) comprises second engagement means (10). The first and second (10) engagement means are adapted to releasable engage with each other whereby the seismic sensor capsule (2) is releasably fastened to the seafloor casing (6). The seismic sensor capsule (2) is adapted to be removed from the seafloor casing (6) after a certain time T. The seafloor casing (6) is configured to be left permanently on the seabed.
