Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a wireless network interface may include a transmit/receive path comprising an antenna for transmitting and receiving wireless transmissions and a baseband controller communicatively coupled to the transmit/receive path and configured to receive fused sensor information indicative of environmental conditions detected by a plurality of sensors and, based on the fused sensor information, tune one or more parameters of the transmit/receive path.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, an information handling system may include a processor, a user interface, and a flexible integrated circuit. The user interface may include a user interface comprising a display, a touch sensor overlaid on the display and configured to detect tactile touches on the user interface, a cover overlaid on the touch sensor, and an antenna array comprising a plurality of antennas. The flexible integrated circuit may be configured to couple the antenna array to the processor, the flexible integrated circuit comprising a radio-frequency module for controlling radio-frequency communications to and from the antenna array and a baseband controller for controlling communication of information between the processor and the antenna.

Abstract: A method in a wireless dock includes querying a first wireless networking database to identify a first set of available channels, querying a second wireless networking database to identify a second set of available channels, and sending location and device attributes. The method also includes receiving a list of permissible frequencies and power levels, sending to a client device at least a portion of the list of the permissible frequencies and the power levels for use of selected channels selected from the first set of the available channels and the second set of the available channels, and communicating with the client device using selected frequencies and power levels selected from the at least the portion of the list of the permissible frequencies and the power levels.

Abstract: A process for using a build to order model to enable factory installation and user setup configuration of integrated mobile television devices for pre-selected mobile TV services. The process pre-configures a receiver (such as a DVB-H type receiver) to quickly tune to the desired DVB-H band/channel and to provide pre-selected application and service information to the customer. Such a process assists a customer to utilize more readily their new integrated mobile television device. In certain embodiments, the process focuses on the DVB-H standard.
