Abstract: A short-range conducted electrical weapon (“conducted electrical weapon”) may be configured to deploy electrodes having a minimum spacing when coupled to a target at short-range. The conducted electrical weapon may comprise a housing. The housing may comprise a target end opposite a grip end. The grip end may be configured to removably receive a cartridge. The cartridge may house two or more electrodes. The target end may comprise one or more activation buttons or terminals. In response to the activation buttons or terminals being activated, the electrodes may be launched from the cartridge in the grip end. The electrodes may be disposed in the cartridge at an obtuse angle relative to the placement of the opposite electrode. The obtuse angle may enable the electrodes to be deployed effectively at short range.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a redirection module and an audio/video module. The redirection module receives an audio data frame and an image data frame, analyzes the image data frame for a trigger event. In response the trigger event being detected in the image data frame, the redirection module replaces the audio data frame with a silent audio data frame and provides the silent audio data frame to the audio/video module. Otherwise the redirection module provides the audio data frame to the audio/video module. The audio/video module receives and transmits either the audio data frame or the silent audio data frame.

Abstract: A process for using a build to order model to enable factory installation and user setup configuration of integrated mobile television devices for pre-selected mobile TV services. The process pre-configures a receiver (such as a DVB-H type receiver) to quickly tune to the desired DVB-H band/channel and to provide pre-selected application and service information to the customer. Such a process assists a customer to utilize more readily their new integrated mobile television device. In certain embodiments, the process focuses on the DVB-H standard.

Abstract: A system and method for configuring devices for wireless communication are disclosed. A method may include transmitting an activation key from an activation broker to a wireless agent. The method may also include transmitting the activation key from the activation broker to a wireless registrar. At least one of the transmission of the activation key to the wireless agent and the transmission of the activation key to the wireless registrar may include transmitting the activation key via a short-range wireless communication technology. The registry entries are applied upon power up to automatically configure the information handling system's wireless radio to interface with a wireless service and to provision the information handling system on the wireless service. Updates to the wireless service are provided by updates to the registry entries.
