  • Patent number: 12151837
Abstract: The present technology is generally directed to methods and systems for automated food packaging. The method and system includes singulating a plurality of elongate food products into a plurality of individual product pieces, conveying the plurality of individual product pieces along a moving surface, depositing a portion of the individual product pieces into a bucket, where the products are deposited such that a length of greater than about 90% of the individual product pieces are generally aligned parallel with the first side or second side of the bucket. Methods and systems include measuring a height between a top surface of the deposited portion of produce pieces and a top side of the moving surface, vertically lowering the bucket if the measured height is less than a threshold amount, and depositing a second portion of individual product pieces into the vertically lowered bucket.

  • Publication number: 20240191960
Abstract: A recoil compensator for a handgun defines a through opening along a central axis, the through opening including a threaded portion configured to threadably engage the threads on the distal end portion of the barrel. The recoil compensator further defines a port in a top wall and defines fastener openings each configured to receive a taper pin. When the recoil compensator is installed on the barrel, the central axis is substantially coincident with the bore axis and the port is configured to vent a portion of propellant gases from the barrel upon firing the handgun. The threaded portion threadably engages the threads on the barrel with a distal end of the barrel positioned proximally of the port. Each taper pin is received in a respective fastener opening and engages a side of the barrel. A slide assembly and handgun including the compensator are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9719278
Abstract: A lock system for controlling access, for example to a room or building, is disclosed. The lock system comprises a bolt module in which control of the bolt can be configured differently on the two sides of a leaf or door. Control of the bolt module may be provided by various locking modules, which are also disclosed herein. The bolt module is reversible for left handed or right handed operation. In one embodiment the bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; and a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt. The bolt module may also comprise a second rotor assembly. The bolt module may comprise an anti-thrust member obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. The bolt module may comprise a lockable cover.
