Abstract: A sliding guide rail assembly (20, 20a, 20b) is provided for slidably mounting a drawer or equipment (10) within a cabinet or chassis. The rail (33a) is formed from a sheet metal into a T-shaped section onto which a sliding means (40, 40a, 40b, 40c) fits and slides smoothly thereon. Guides (50, 120, 150, 160) also formed from a sheet metal into C-sections fitting over the sliding means (40,40a,40b,40c) and operable to slide smoothly therewith. This enables the drawer/equipment mounted on the slide (20,20a,20b) to be drawn in and out with little effort or wear and tear.

Abstract: A lock fitting arrangement for a knock down drawer for removably fastening the front panel of the drawer to side of the panels is presented. The lock fitting is made up of a holding plate having a mounting member and a fitting member. The mounting and fitting members are orthogonal to each other. A locking assembly with a housing and a spring-loaded lock is held in its unlocked position via a tapered step against a shoulder by a biasing spring, and a lever pivotably mounted within the housing to urge the lock for engaging the tapered step with the shoulder when desired. A locking projection is mounted on a second wall and cooperates with the lock to which it is removably attached to the first wall.

Abstract: An improved mounting device to secure a front panel in perpendicular relationship onto a side panel comprises of a mounting bracket (18) secured to the front panel (12) and a receiving bracket (20) assembly secured to the side panel (14) said front and side panel (12,14) forming part of a furniture. The improvements further includes the mounting bracket (18) with a nose edge (32) removeably secured onto the receiving bracket assembly (20), the receiving bracket assembly (20) comprises of a holding block (60) to receive in registration the nose edge (32), a slider (70) to securely hold the mounting bracket (18) and to allow linear movement of the mounting bracket (18) within the receiving bracket (20), a rotatably mounted actuator plate (80), a biased means pivotally mounted to tension the actuator plate (80) and wherein by adjusting the actuator plate (80) and an eccentric cam mechanism means (110) the front panel (12) can be adjusted in two perpendicular axes in relation to the side panels (14).
