  • Patent number: 10194139
Abstract: A procedure to calibrate a depth-disparity mapping for a plenoptic imaging system. In one aspect, one or more test objects located at known field positions and known depths are presented to the plenoptic imaging system. The plenoptic imaging system captures plenoptic images of the test objects. The plenoptic images include multiple images of the test objects captured from different viewpoints. Disparities for the test objects are calculated based on the multiple images taken from the different viewpoints. Since the field positions and depths of the test objects are known, a mapping between depth and disparity as a function of field position can be determined.

  • Publication number: 20180224552
Abstract: A system and method for compressed-sensing ultrafast photography for two-dimensional dynamic imaging is disclosed. The system and method may capture non-repetitive time-evolving events at up to about 100 billion frames per second. In an aspect, a digital micromirror device (DMD) may be added as the spatial encoding module. By using the DMD and applying the CUP reconstruction algorithm, a conventional 1D streak camera may be transformed to a 2D ultrafast imaging device. The resultant system may capture a single, non-repetitive event at up to 100 billion frames per second with appreciable sequence depths (up to about 350 frames per acquisition). In another aspect, a dichroic mirror may be used to separate signals into two color channels, and may further expand CUP's functionality into the realm of four-dimensional x, y, k, t ultrafast imaging, maximizing the information content that may be simultaneously acquired from a single instrument.

  • Publication number: 20180025165
Abstract: Method for controlling mobile hard disk through mobile device is disclosed, in which, control software installed on a computer is used to detect whether APP control software exists in the same IP address segment with the computer, if exists, control software sends a key confirmation signal to APP control software, which accordingly sends back a feedback signal; when the feedback signal is to use an intelligent mobile device as a key of the mobile hard disk, control software generates a key signal and sends it to APP control software and a hidden sector of the mobile hard disk to save it therein. Through the process, the intelligent mobile device installed with APP control software may be used as the key of the mobile hard disk, then while using which, the key is needed instead of a password, thus the unnecessary loss may be prevented from the oblivion of the password.
