  • Publication number: 20030139792
Abstract: A fistula thermotherapy device uses 4-14 &mgr;m infrared waves for thermotherapy on fistula. The infrared waves penetrate the epidermis of patients 2-3 centimeters deep so as to have sanative effect on fistula and cells nearby. Therefore, the blood circulation of fistula is improved, the cells nearby are activated, and the metabolism of that area is enhanced. Thus the fluency and elasticity of the fistula can be maintained. The fistula thermotherapy device includes an electric heating layer, an inner cover, and an outer cover.

  • Publication number: 20030099584
Abstract: An aqueous ozone generator with reverse osmosis or deionization function includes an ozone generator and an ozone monitor connected with the outlet end of a reverse osmosis circuitry. The reverse osmosis circuitry can be replaced by a deionization circuitry. The ozone generator produces ozone which is then diffused to the pure water making the aqueous ozone solution with ozone level above 1 ppm. As a disinfectant, aqueous ozone solution is applied to water for washing food, dishware, wound and medical devices.

  • Publication number: 20030073945
Abstract: An ozone hemodiafiltration device comprising a dialysate fluid circuit, extracorporeal circuit for blood and a replenishing solute circuit. The dialysate fluid circuit provides aseptic isotonic solution with mineral and nutrients in specific ratio to a dialyzer. The extracorporeal circuit for blood draws blood flow from human bodies, passes through the dialyzer, and turns back to human bodies. The replenishing solute circuit conducts the isotonic solution from the dialysate fluid circuit into a filter for re-filtration and the re-filtered isotonic solution is injected into human bodies through the extracorporeal circuit for blood. The device features on an ozone (O3) generator, which converts the reverse osmosis water into ozone water solution, disposed before the water inlet end of the dialysate fluid circuit. By controlling the flow of ozone water solution into the extracorporeal circuit for blood and the replenishing solute circuit, the ozone in blood keeps at 3-6 ppm concentrations.
