Abstract: A battery connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of electrical terminals and a plurality of conducting pieces. The insulating body defines a plurality of terminal grooves penetrating through a front and a rear thereof and a plurality of inserting grooves communicating with the respective terminal grooves. The electrical terminals are assembled into the terminal grooves of the insulting body. The conducting pieces are assembled into the inserting grooves of the insulating body and contact with the electrical terminals. When the battery connector electrically connects the battery and the circuit board, part of the current passes through the conducting pieces, therefore heat generated by the electrical terminals is reduced to ensure that the temperature of the battery connector is within the normal range.

The first switch unit is configured to receive a first dynamic input voltage, and to generate a first operation voltage at a first operation terminal or generate a second operation voltage at a second operation terminal according to the first dynamic input voltage. The first level shift unit is coupled to the first switch unit at the first operation terminal, and is configured to shift the first operation voltage to a first output voltage having a first level at an output terminal according to a first supply voltage. The second level shift unit is coupled to the first switch unit at the second operation terminal, and is configured to shift the second operation voltage to the first output voltage having a second level according to a second supply voltage.

The method may include retrieving, by the texture engine, filter coefficients from the texture cache in response to a second instruction. The method may include storing, by the texture engine, pixel data in the texture cache of the GPU in response to the second instruction. The pixel data may include one or more pixel values. The method may include filtering, by the texture engine, the pixel data stored in the texture cache using the retrieved filter coefficients.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals located in the insulating housing, a main shielding shell and an auxiliary shell. The insulating housing has a main body, and a tongue portion protruded frontward from a front surface of the main body. The main shielding shell surrounds the main body and the tongue portion of the insulating housing. The main shielding shell has a main plate, a bottom plate and two lateral plates. A middle of the bottom plate defines an avoiding gap. The auxiliary shell has a base plate, and two flanks extended outward from two opposite sides of the base plate. The two flanks are fastened to bottom surfaces of two side walls of the avoiding gap and the base plate is located under the avoiding gap.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for predicting the onset of postoperative atrial fibrillation (AF) from electrocardiogram (ECG) data representing a patient. A signal processing component determines parameters representing the activity of the heart of the patient from the ECG data. A feature extraction component calculates a plurality of features useful in predicting postoperative AF from the determined parameters. A classification component determines an AF index for the patient from the calculated plurality of features. The AF index represents the likelihood that the patient will experience AF.

Abstract: Methods for fabricating integrated circuits having improved active regions are provided. In an embodiment, a method for fabricating an integrated circuit includes providing a semiconductor substrate having an upper surface and including active regions and isolation regions formed in a low voltage device area and in a high voltage device area. The method includes selectively forming voids between the isolation regions and the active regions in the high voltage device area to expose active side surfaces. The method further includes oxidizing the upper surface and the active side surfaces to form a gate oxide layer over the low voltage device area and the high voltage device area.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to detecting interactions with signals, such as by an attacker attempting to gain access to a vehicle. Signal waveforms used for authentication are evaluated, for communications between respective circuits. Possible interaction by a third circuit is analyzed by detecting variations in characteristics of a leading portion of a data symbol relative to known characteristics of the leading portion of the data signal. A condition indicative of whether the signal waveform has been interacted with and retransmitted is determined, based on the detected variations. For instance, if the variations are indicative of a known type of variation induced by interaction and retransmission, such interaction and transmission can be detected. Where the determined condition is not deemed an attack, an output signal that provides vehicle access is generated based on the determined condition.

Abstract: An assembly for harnessing a pendulum motion from fluid wave energy to convert to power. The assembly converts a fluid wave energy into electricity through a pendulum mechanism. The pendulum mechanism makes use of a buoyant sphere that floats in a fluid and absorbs wave energy, such as oscillations, vibrations, and disturbances known in wave energy, while floating in the fluid. A hemispherical pendulum swings in relation to the wave energy. The hemispherical pendulum transmits the swinging motion to an electrical generator for conversion to electricity. The harnessing of wave energy and swinging of the hemispherical pendulum is controlled through various components that balance and stabilize the assembly. The sphere comprises components to help control the irregularities from wave energy on the hemispherical pendulum through a directional guidance member, a velocity regulation member, and a stabilization member. A transmission cable transmits the electricity to a control center on shore.

The output from horizontally parallelizing is converted into input for vertically parallelizing the training data. The training data is vertically parallelized across the two or more processing elements. The decision tree is grown based at least in part on the horizontally parallelizing, the converting, and the vertically parallelizing.

The measuring apparatus also includes a calculating device. The first and second wireless communication devices are configured to wirelessly communicate time-based signals with each other. The calculating device utilizes the time-based signals to determine a first dimension of an object.

The motor is a single phase direct current brushless motor which includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core includes an outer ring portion, teeth extending inwardly from the outer ring portion, a pole shoe formed at the tooth. Slot openings are formed between the pole shoes. The rotor is received in a receiving chamber defined by the pole shoes. Inner surfaces of the pole shoes and the rotor form therebetween a substantially even air gap. The presence of even air gap can reduce the cogging torque of the motor, thus reducing the startup current and noise of the motor.

Abstract: A method includes placing a shell mold with a crucible portion and a casting portion in communication with the crucible portion on a rotary table, with the heterogeneous material including an embedded portion inlaying in the casting portion of the shell mold and a non-embedded portion locating in a cavity of the casting portion, placing a metal ingot into the crucible portion, followed by melting the metal ingot into molten metal in a vacuum environment, rotating the rotary table, causing the molten metal to flow into the cavity, destroying the shell mold after the molten metal solidifies to obtain a casting including a cast product portion separated from the casting to obtain a cast product of a golf club head, and removing the embedded portion of the heterogeneous material protruding from an outer periphery of the cast product of the golf club head.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a low-density steel wooden golf head solves the difficulty in reducing the thickness of a conventional wooden golf head. The method includes placing a shell mold having a crucible portion and a cavity portion in communication with the crucible portion on a rotary table, placing a metal ingot into the crucible portion, followed by melting the metal ingot in molten metal in a vacuum environment, rotating the rotary table to cause the molten metal to flow into the cavity portion under a centrifugal force, gradually slowing down the rotary table after the molten metal cools and solidifies, destroying the shell mold to obtain a casting including a cast product portion, and separating the cast product portion from the casting to obtain a casting product of a wooden golf head having a density of 6.5-7.6 g/cm3 and a minimum thickness of 0.4-0.6 mm.
