  • Patent number: 9873721
Abstract: A fluorescent fusion protein is provided. The fluorescent fusion protein of the invention comprises a first fluorescent protein with first emission wavelength, a second fluorescent protein with second excitation wavelength and second emission wavelength, and a linker peptide linking the first fusion protein and the second fusion protein, wherein the first emission wavelength overlaps the second excitation wavelength so that the second fluorescent protein exhibits the second emission wavelength after receiving energy. The fluorescent fusion protein of the invention exhibits a stronger fluorescence in the absence of bilivirdin (BV).

  • Patent number: 9298660
Abstract: A super speed USB hub includes an upstream port, a plurality of device ports, a transaction dispatching unit, a downstream buffer, a hub local packet parser, a traffic control unit, and a forwarding unit. The transaction dispatching unit is used for receiving a plurality of packets from a USB host, wherein the plurality of packets comprise a plurality of downstream packets and a hub command packet. If the hub command packet contains a traffic management command, the hub local packet parser generates a selected target and a control mode according to the traffic management command. The traffic control unit is used for managing a downstream packet corresponding to the selected target among the plurality of downstream packets in the downstream buffer according to the selected target and the control mode.

  • Publication number: 20140146231
Abstract: A display apparatus and an image capturing method are provided. The display apparatus includes a receiving unit, a processing unit, a display panel, a display output interface, and a capturing unit. The receiving unit is coupled to a data bus and receives video stream data provided by an external video source. The processing unit is coupled to the data bus and processes the video stream data to generate display data. The display output interface is coupled to the processing unit and the display panel, receives the display data, and drives the display panel to display an image frame. The capturing unit is coupled to the data bus and captures all or part of the image frame according to a capturing command issued by an external device, so as to obtain captured target data. The capturing unit also transmits the captured target data back to the external device.

  • Publication number: 20110217239
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for evaluating a protein of interest on growth inhibition of a tumor while following the tumor in vivo or in vitro through a co-expressed visible marker. The present disclosure provides an expression composition for stably transforming cells, preferably tumor cells. The expression composition includes two vectors respectively include polynucleotides encoding a protein of interest and a visible marker, wherein each polynucleotide is operably linked to a tet-on system such that the protein of interest and the visible marker are co-expressed upon activation of the tet-on system. The present disclosure also provides stably transfected cell lines, which may be used to access real-time biological processes, including tumor cell proliferation.
