    Abstract: The present teaching generally relates to removing perturbations from predictive scoring. In one embodiment, data representing a plurality of events detected by a content provider may be received, the data indicating a time that a corresponding event occurred and whether the corresponding event was fraudulent. First category data may be generated by grouping each event into one of a number of categories, each category being associated with a range of times. A first measure of risk for each category may be determined, where the first measure of risk indicates a likelihood that a future event occurring at a future time is fraudulent. Second category data may be generated by processing the first category data and a second measure of risk for each category may be determined. Measure data representing the second measure of risk for each category and the range of times associated with that category may be stored.

The computer performs image recognition on the infrared image, determines, based on the predetermined pattern stored in advance and a result of the image recognition, which one of the control areas is masked, and generates a device control signal based on a function corresponding to the one of the control areas that is determined to be masked. The display device displays images based on the device control signal.

    Abstract: A method includes extracting packet information of a data packet to be transmitted through a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection. If the packet information does not match information in a first data flow table, a first compliance detection is performed on the data packet. A state machine of the TCP connection is obtained if the first compliance detection is successful. The method also includes recording the packet information in the first data flow table, recording a connection status of the TCP connection in a first connection tracking table, and sending the data packet to a receiving end of the TCP connection. If the packet information matches the information in the first data flow table, a second compliance detection is performed on the data packet and, if the second compliance detection fails, the connection status of the TCP connection is adjusted and the data packet is discarded.

The point cloud model of the three-dimensional scene is divided to obtain the road. A thickness of the road is determined based on the point cloud data of the road. It is determined whether the internal parameter of the laser radar is precise based on the thickness of the road.

    Abstract: The system and method may assess the merchant risk level on a more continuous scale rather than a binary categorization. It may produce a continuous risk score proportional to the likelihood of a merchant being risky, effectively addressing the issue of shades of gray encountered by the traditional blacklisting approach. The continuous risk score feature provides greater flexibility as it allows the payment network to make dynamic pricing decisions (known as interchange optimization) based on the merchant risk level. Using collective intelligence from transactions across the payment network, the system and method may be able to assess the merchant risk level with high accuracy. The system and method may be particularly beneficial to small merchants with low transaction volume as even a few fraudulent transactions can easily put them in the high-risk merchant category. Further, the system and method may help payment processing networks make better decision on cross-border transactions.

The cap being capable of sliding forward and backward relative to the drawer to open or close the opening. The sealing member is disposed between the cap and the drawer and has a sealing surface between the sealing member and the drawer or the cap, and the sealing surface has a rough feature. More specifically, the sealing surface has the rough feature. Therefore, when the cap closes the opening, a contact area between the sealing member and the drawer or the cap is relatively reduced, binding is relatively weakened, and suction is relatively reduced. The cap can be easily pushed away by merely applying relatively little thrust to open the opening when the opening of the drawer needs to be opened, greatly facilitating use by a user.
