The insulator is located on the side of the end cap facing the electrode assembly, and the insulator is configured to isolate the end cap from the electrode assembly. The thermally conductive member is embedded in the insulator, and the thermally conductive member is configured to be attached to the end cap. Heat generated by the electrode assembly may be transferred to the end cap through the thermally conductive member.

The pressure relief groove is provided in the cap body, and the pressure relief groove defines a pressure relief zone. A length direction of the pressure relief zone is consistent with a width direction of the cap body. The end cap has a stress concentration region at a short edge of the pressure relief groove when the inner side of the end cap is subjected to the pressure inside the battery cell, and the end cap has a stress concentration region at a long edge of the pressure relief groove when the outer side of the end cap is subjected to an impact force.
