  • Publication number: 20160356878
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for mobile computing device proximity notification. The method includes one or more processors acquiring location information for a plurality of mobile computing devices. The method further includes one or more processors creating a first group of mobile computing devices based on location proximity in the acquired location information of the plurality of mobile computing devices, wherein the created first group includes a first mobile computing device and a second mobile computing device. The method further includes one or more processors determining whether the first mobile computing device is within a predetermined distance to the second mobile computing device, and the first mobile computing device and the second mobile computing device are outside of an area associated with the first group.

  • Patent number: 9292596
Abstract: Embodiments relate to relevance-based information processing. An aspect includes storing a history of display operations performed by a user on a first electronic file. Another aspect includes inputting display operations into the stored history performed by a user on the first electronic file. Another aspect includes calculating, using a plurality of calculating methods, a plurality of degrees of relevance of a second electronic file to the first electronic file based on the stored history. Another aspect includes calculating a synthesized degree of relevance by synthesizing the plurality of degrees of relevance of the second electronic file to the first electronic file. Another aspect includes displaying an input region on a display for inputting display operations on the first electronic file, and automatically displaying the second electronic file based on the synthesized degree of relevance of the second electronic file to the first electronic file exceeding a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20160028706
Abstract: The accessibility of a hyperlinked files is displayed. A hyperlink that references a resource is extracted from a target file. An attempt to acquire the resource is made by performing a first authentication operation. A first object is received in response to performing the authentication operation. A second object is acquired by performing a second authentication operation using pre-determined authentication information. The first object and the second object are compared to determine if the first object is the same as the second object. Information indicating the accessibility of the resource is presented via a display apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20150199820
Abstract: A method displays a copy of a specified display area on a computer display. A first signal is received from a user. The first signal specifies a display area on a display as a specified display area. The specified display area presents a dynamic activity being performed on a computer. A second signal is received from the user to identify a particular object in the specified display area. A copy of the specified display area, which includes only the particular object, is generated. The copy of the specified display area has a same shape as the specified display area, presents the dynamic activity being performed on the computer, and is displayed on the display.

  • Publication number: 20140365475
Abstract: An apparatus retrieves and outputs a specific sentence from a document. An acceptance hardware component acquires a retrieval key. An importance calculation hardware component calculates the level of importance of each sentence included in a search target document. A document processing hardware component extracts a sentence including the retrieval key from the search target. A retrieval result processing hardware component corrects a value of importance of each sentence calculated by the importance calculation hardware component for the sentence based on the position of the sentence in the search target document to calculate a corrected level of importance. A display control hardware component outputs the sentence extracted by the document processing hardware component according to the display order based on the corrected level of importance.

  • Publication number: 20140172897
Abstract: A system to enable restoration of a tree structure based on serialized data, and extraction of partial data that includes information of the tree structure from original data. A searching part identifies sequence elements of serialized data using a searching process. An essential element string identifying part identifies a sequence element string (essential element string) that includes the searched sequence elements. A rear section identifying part identifies a sequence element string that includes sequence elements located after the essential element string and is required to form a subtree that includes nodes corresponding to all the sequence elements of the essential element string. A front section identifying part identifies a sequence element string that includes sequence elements located before the essential element string and is required to form a subtree that includes nodes corresponding to all the sequence elements of the essential element string.
