  • Patent number: 7980998
Abstract: A personal device is provided for measuring a training activity of a trainee having a body part which moves during this training activity, this movement at least partially defining said training activity. The device comprises a sensing unit adapted to repeatedly measure, during the training activity, parameters associated with the movement of the body part, and wherein the sensing unit comprising at least accelerometer means, a compass and, optimally, gyroscope means. The device further comprises means for attaching the sensing unit to the body part and a processor adapted to receive from the sensing unit the parameters and to calculate based thereon, data indicative of the training activity.

  • Patent number: 7887507
Abstract: The present invention provides a device and method for measuring the amount of milk supplied to a feeding infant. The device (10) comprises a cap (13) having a nipple-shaped region (10) with an inner surface (14) and an outer surface (16) and a duct (18) extending therebetween. The duct has an inlet (20) at the inner surface and an outlet (22) at the outer surface. The cap is adapted to be mounted on the nipple region of a woman's breast with the inner surface facing the woman's breast and to allow breast-milk to pass through the duct. The device further comprises a sensor (24) associated with the duct for measuring at least milk volume passing through the duct and providing data indicative of the volume.
