  • Publication number: 20230301819
Abstract: An ostomy appliance comprising a main body portion comprising an inner wall and an outer wall of flexible sheet material joined together to define a cavity for containing a stomal output; the inner wall comprising an inlet for receiving the stomal output into the cavity; the ostomy appliance further comprising an outer comfort layer overlying at least a portion of the outer wall; wherein the outer comfort layer comprise a first part and a second part which are joined to the outer wall so that the first part partially overlaps the second part in an overlap region, wherein the first part and the second part are separable from each other in the overlap region to form a window opening for viewing the cavity; wherein the overlap region is angled obliquely to a horizontal direction when the ostomy appliance is orientated as it would be in use.

  • Patent number: 10643598
Abstract: A method of operating a vehicle sound system to enhance the driving experience of vehicle occupants. A vehicle-mounted sensor (such as a LIDAR or RADAR system) is used to identify an object in the vehicle environment. A database that may be stored on a remote server is queried, the database containing, in electronic form, a sound stored therein associated with the object. The sound may be a desirable or pleasant sound. The sound is download to the vehicle sound system and the sound system generates the sound in a vehicle cabin for enjoyment by the occupants. Other ambient sounds may be detected by an exterior microphone of the vehicle, characteristics and locations of the sound added to the database. A vehicle noise reduction system may be activated as the vehicle approaches the location when it is determined that the characteristic indicates that the ambient sound is undesirable.

  • Patent number: 10632817
Abstract: One or more environmental control systems of a vehicle are automatically operated. A position of an occupant of the vehicle in their circadian cycle is determined. The operation of one or more of the environmental control systems is controlled to compensate for or adjust the position of the occupant in their circadian cycle.

  • Patent number: 10070717
Abstract: A stowable table assembly includes: a table portion rotatable between a deployed position and a stowed position; a carrier configured to be slidably received in a recess; and a plurality of elongate members provided between the table portion and the carrier. Each of the elongate members has a wedge-shaped cross-section such that the elongate members comprise side surfaces that taper towards each other from an upper surface to an underside surface of the elongate members. A first elongate member is coupled to the table portion and a last elongate member is coupled to the carrier. The elongate members are movably coupled to one another such that the side surfaces of neighboring elongate members abut when the table portion is in the deployed position.
