    Abstract: The disclosure belongs to a field of environmentally friendly new materials, specifically relating to a modified covalent organic framework for simultaneous adsorption of multiple heavy metal ions, along with its preparation method and applications. The preparation steps for the material are as follows. 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenyl)benzene and 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalaldehyde are dissolved in a mixed solvent and allowed to stand and react at room temperature to obtain a mixed solution. Scandium trifluoromethanesulfonate is added to the obtained mixed solution, and allowed to stand and react at the room temperature. After completion of the reaction, the insoluble matter is separated from the reaction solution, and the insoluble matter is washed and dried to obtain a covalent organic framework substrate.
