    Abstract: An event timing-based method and apparatus for fiber-optic frequency transfer are provided, relating to the fields of time-frequency transfer and precision time measurement. According to the method, an event timer is used to detect a time stamp of each rising edge of a radio frequency (RF) signal, which reflects a link delay jitter, a reference time stamp is subtracted from the time stamp to obtain a phase error, and an actuator is driven to compensate the phase error, thereby improving tolerance of a system to link noise while ensuring the stability of optical frequency transfer. Thus, the link delay jitter is suppressed, ensuring that a phase of an output transferred beam remains in long-term stability with a phase of an input reference light.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for optical frequency comb locking are provided, relating to the field of frequency control of optical frequency combs. A first electrical signal and second electrical signal outputted by an optical frequency comb system are acquired. Target carrier-envelope offset (CEO) frequency control data and target repetition rate control data are generated based on the first electrical signal, second electrical signal, a CEO frequency radio frequency (RF) reference signal and repetition rate RF reference signal. A first and a second decoupling module synchronously perform decoupling on the data to obtain a first control quantity and second control quantity. The first digital-to-analog converter converts the first control quantity into a first control signal, and simultaneously the second digital-to-analog converter converts the second control quantity into a second control signal. The first and second control signals are inputted to the optical frequency comb system after amplified.

    Abstract: The separation of ethane from its corresponding ethylene is a very important, challenging and energy-intensive process in the chemical industry. Herein we report a microporous metal-organic framework Fe2(O2)(dobdc) (dobdc4?: 2,5-dioxido-1,4-benzenedicarboxylate) with Fe-peroxo sites for the preferential binding of ethane over ethylene and thus highly selective separation of C2H6/C2H4. Neutron powder diffraction studies and theoretical calculations demonstrate the key role of Fe-peroxo sites for the recognition of ethane. The high performance of Fe2(O2)(dobdc) for the ethane/ethylene separation has been validated by gas sorption isotherms, ideal adsorbed solution theory calculations, simulated and experimental breakthrough curves.
