Abstract: A slide rail assembly includes a slide rail, a sliding assembly slidably installed on the slide rail, and a locking mechanism capable of locking and releasing the sliding assembly. The locking mechanism includes a control button, a transmission member, a friction block and an elastic restoring member. The control button is installed on the sliding assembly and includes a movable member which can reciprocate. The movable member is in transmission connection with a first end of the transmission member. A second end of the transmission member is connected with the friction block. The elastic restoring member is provided between the sliding assembly and the transmission member, and the friction block is movably installed on the sliding assembly and can move towards or away from the slide rail.
