  • Publication number: 20080078053
Abstract: A retractable pull handle for a luggage includes an outer pipe, an inner pipe, a fixing seat, a positioning block, a first elastic member, two locking blocks, two second elastic members, and a push member. Thus, the locking posts of the locking blocks are locked in the lower locking holes of the outer pipe, and the positioning post of the positioning block is locked in the positioning hole of the outer pipe to provide a double locking effect, so that the inner pipe is locked in the outer pipe exactly and stably to prevent the inner pipe from detaching from the outer pipe, thereby facilitating packaging, transportation and storage of the luggage.

  • Patent number: 7266863
Abstract: A retractable handle assembly for a luggage includes an outer pipe, an intermediate pipe, an inner pipe, and a control handle. Each of the inner pipe and the intermediate pipe has a bottom end provided with a support seat and a locking device. The support seat includes a housing and an end cap. The locking device includes at least one press member, at least one locking pin, and at least one positioning pin. Thus, the inner pipe and the intermediate pipe are positioned exactly and stably so that the inner pipe and the intermediate pipe will not slip when the retractable handle assembly is folded and expanded, thereby facilitating a user operating the retractable handle assembly.

  • Publication number: 20040124055
Abstract: An improved handle structure for luggage and particularly a handle structure that has a shock cushion effect and may extend the elevation of the handle of the luggage mainly includes a handle section, a control section, an adjusting section and a coupling section. The handle section has a bucking member running through a control slot of a coupling member of the control section. The bucking member has a concave section pressing the top end of a push rod. The push rod has a ram head pressing a sloped angle of a sliding member of the adjusting section, and an upper sloped angle and a lower sloped angle to move the coupling member upwards so that the anchor strut of the coupling member may be separated from or anchored in an anchor hole to extend the elevation of the handle. A torsional spring is provided with one foot wedged in a notch of a recess and another foot wedged in a lower casing of the adjusting section to alleviate the impact to user's hand holding the handle.

  • Publication number: 20040124053
Abstract: An improved luggage handle control structure for adjusting handle direction and particularly a turnable handle for controlling the handle direction of the luggage mainly includes a handle section, a control section, an adjusting section and a coupling section. The handle section has a bucking member running through a control slot of a coupling member of the control section. The bucking member has a concave section pressing the top end of a push rod, and an upper sloped angle and a lower sloped angle. When the pushbutton is depressed, the bucking member is moved forwards, the upper sloped angle also is moved forwards concurrently to push the coupling member upwards. Therefore the retaining block wedged in the coupling trough is moved upwards and separates from the coupling trough to enable the handle section to be turned as desired.

  • Patent number: 6530459
Abstract: A handle structure for adjusting directions of a luggage handle includes a handle located on the top end of the luggage to fasten to the extensible pulling bars of the luggage. The handle consists of a front frame and a rear frame coupling to form a handle section. In the handle section, a depressing member is provided which has a bottom to contact a push stem. The push stem is formed in an inverse T shape. The push stem is housed in an anchor seat which consists of an upper seat and a lower seat. The upper seat has a retain trough to engage with the push stem. The anchor seat also has a depressing plate which has two ends located above two openings of the lower seat to contact control bars of a control element. Depressing the push button of the depressing member, the push stem may be disengaged from the retain trough of the anchor seat to allow the handle turning to an angle or direction desired.

  • Patent number: 6390259
Abstract: A wheeled luggage with expandable body has two support mechanisms each comprising a sliding board secured to the side of auxiliary body, a locking mechanism secured to the side of main body and comprising two opposite locking members each having a ratchet member, and a trigger mechanism comprising a plate member, a trigger member, and two sliding members. In an unused position, the width of a flexible section is reduced to a minimum by closing the zipper and the sliding member is engaged with the rear tooth of the ratchet member, thereby preventing the sliding board from forward moving. The width of the flexible section is increased to a maximum by opening the zipper in a use position. The plate member is pushed rearward for disengaging the sliding members from the ratchet members, thereby permitting a rearward sliding of the sliding board from the use position to the unused position.
