Patent number: 12108504Abstract: A data box generates an output signal to control a light strand comprising a plurality of lights. The data box is configured to receive an input signal comprising a first instruction packet having a first, second, and third color value. The data box is further configured to determine an output color based on the first, second, and third color values. The data box then generates the output signal, which comprises a second instruction packet. The second instruction packet comprises a first, second, and third color value as well as a white value. The combination of the first, second, third, and white values is configured to match the output color of the first instruction packet. The data box is further configured to transmit the second instruction packet to a light of the plurality of lights.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2021Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: Tivoli, Inc.Inventors: Lien-Chung Lin, Bey Shing Jang

Patent number: 11889597Abstract: A light fixture of a light system is configured to be dimmable using a dimming signal that is either a direct-current (DC) dimming signal or an alternating-current (AC) dimming signal. For example, a 0-10 volt DC dimming signal could be used, or a 120 volt AC dimming signal could be used. A dimming controller in the light fixture is configured to receive both a DC and an AC dimming signals and adjust a brightness and/or color of a light based on the dimming signal.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2022Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: Tivoli, Inc.Inventors: Lien-Chung Lin, Bey Shing Jang

Patent number: 11635178Abstract: A light fixture comprising a housing with a first end and a second end opposite the first end is installed by removing a cap removably coupled with the second end of the housing and mounting the housing to a surface such that the housing is adjacent the surface. Cavities formed by walls of first and second flanges coupled with the housing at the second end are configured to receive fasteners to secure the housing to a surface. Light from a light source coupled with the housing is configured to be emitted from the housing at the first end of the housing. The light fixture is hung from a cable by passing a cord through an opening formed by walls of the cap and around the cable while the cap is removably coupled with the housing.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2022Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignee: Tivoli, Inc.Inventors: Lien-Chung Lin, Bey Shing Jang
