    Abstract: A method for vehicle positioning is provided, which includes the steps of identifying at least one vehicle in an image, obtaining identification information of each vehicle from the image, and transforming coordinates of each vehicle in the image into positioning information of the corresponding vehicle according to mapping information. The positioning information is a position of the corresponding vehicle in real world. Precise lane-level vehicle positioning can be achieved based on comparison with the identification information or the positioning information.

The positioning step gets a positioning data through a GPS in a preset time. The transmitting step transmits a periodic signal to the members of the fleet through a wireless network system. The leading member proceeds the positioning and transmitting steps. The motion track is connected according to the positioning data.

    Abstract: In a machine-implemented method for use with a handheld device, a user is able to virtually try on a selected garment using augmented reality. The machine-implemented method includes: (A) establishing a garment database containing information corresponding to at least one garment, the information corresponding to each garment including a backside image of the garment; (B) establishing a marker database containing feature information of a backside marker; and (C) upon determining from a captured image of the user who is tagged with at least one physical maker that the physical marker corresponds to the backside marker, retrieving from the garment database the backside image of a selected garment, and superimposing the retrieved backside image onto the captured image of the user to form a composite image for display on a screen of the handheld device.

The processing device determines the transmitting device transmits a second packet to the neighbor vehicle when the vehicle is in a section of crossroads.     Abstract: A recognition system based on augmented reality and remote computing includes a terminal touch screen, a terminal processing unit, a remote database, and a remote computing unit. The terminal touch screen fetches a recognition characteristic of an object to be recognized. The terminal processing unit transmits the recognition characteristic and an icon of an application program required to be executed to the remote computing unit. The remote database stores data corresponding to the recognition characteristic of the object to be recognized. The remote computing unit receives the recognition characteristic and the icon, fetches name and address information from the remote database according to the recognition characteristic and the icon, and transmits the name and address information to the terminal processing unit to make a terminal module enter the application program.

    Abstract: A vehicle collision avoidance apparatus, a vehicle collision avoidance method, and a computer program product thereof are provided. The vehicle collision avoidance apparatus is disposed on a vehicle and is used to prevent the vehicle from crashing into a front vehicle. There is further a back vehicle behind the vehicle. The front vehicle will transmit a warning message to the vehicle collision avoidance apparatus disposed on the vehicle when the front vehicle brakes. The vehicle collision avoidance apparatus disposed on the vehicle will send out a warning notification in response to the warning message, and transmit the warning message to the back vehicle. Similarly, the vehicle collision avoidance apparatus can also be disposed on the front vehicle and the back vehicle to execute the same operations.
