Abstract: The invention relates to an aqueous polyisobutene emulsion having: 1% wt. to 65% wt., based on the total weight of the emulsion, of polyisobutene, at maximum 5% wt., based on the total weight of the emulsion, of at least one surfactant, and optionally 1% wt. to 65% wt., based on the total weight of the emulsion, of at least one wax and/or oil, complemented with water to 100% wt. The average particle size of the polyisobutene emulsion is not greater than 100 ?m. The present invention also relates to the use of such an emulsion.
