  • Patent number: 6039406
Abstract: The disclosed invention relates to a kind of hubcap fastener structure that mainly consists of a number of fittings. Each fitting has an attachment surface and there is a mounting hole in the attachment surface, with numerous retainer claws along the inner circumference of the mounting hole and a number of retainer strips that extend from the opposite end of the attachment surface. There is an engagement hook on each retainer strip that enables each retainer strip of the fittings to be inserted into the insertion slot of each of the outer tubular mount and an inner tubular mount of the fastening mount on the hubcap. Furthermore, the mounting holes and retainer claws of the attachment surface are positioned in alignment with the bolt nuts projecting from the vehicle rim and the installation is completed through the secure insertion of the invention into the insertion slots of the fastening mount.

  • Patent number: 6033033
Abstract: A wheel rim cover that is mainly comprised of a circular plate and a number of fastener components. During installation, there are a number of engraved holes facing outward on the surface of the circular plate, with the edges of the engraved holes extending towards the interior side of the circular plate. Furthermore, an edge reinforcement is inclined towards the center of each of the engraved holes and formed at the final extent of the edge reinforcement is an end hole that is smaller than the engraved holes. The fastener components are positioned on the surface of the circular plate facing inward during assembly and a retainer mount is formed at the end.

  • Patent number: 5791741
Abstract: A wheel cover clasp structure includes a plurality of mounting bases positioned on the wheel cover and a plurality of clasps. Each mounting base has a front end, a rear end and a mounting hole. Each clasp is connectable to a separate mounting base and includes an insertion lock tab having an upper side and a lower side and a curved retainer piece. The insertion lock tab of each clasp is insertable into the mounting hole of the mounting base to which the clasp is connected and has at least two opposite sides. The insertion lock tab further includes an insertion lock section at a first end and a clasp lock section having two lateral hooks each protruding from a separate one of the two opposite sides at a second end. The retainer piece has a first end bent to form a transfer stop section and a second end bent in the same direction as the transfer stop section to form a curved clip section.

  • Patent number: 5772287
Abstract: The wheel rim cover invention herein utilizes a circular disc having engraved holes on the front surface and a number of clasp components on the rear surface, enabling the clasp components to be positioned adjacent to the reinforcement linings along the outer edge and rear side of the circular disc and on the mounting bases that curve slightly inward. Therefore, the clasp components can be placed within the engraved holes when stacked and the clasp components at the upper extent of the wheel rim cover can be placed inside the engraved holes at the lower extent of the wheel rim cover.

  • Patent number: 5752745
Abstract: A wheel rim cover clasp includes an upper clasp body having a support seat, the support seat having a first end and a second end. The upper clasp further includes an insertion seat formed at the first end of the support seat, hinge pins proximate to the second end of the support seat and a lock section. The cover clasp also includes a lower clasp body joined to the upper clasp body by the hinge pins of the support seat. The lower clasp body has two backing seats, each backing seat having a first end and a second end. A fastener seat extends from the first end of each backing seat, a stop seat extends from the second end of each backing seat and projecting in the same direction as the fastener seat, and a fastener slot is formed between each fastener seat and the corresponding stop seat.

  • Patent number: 5718484
Abstract: The wheel rim cover clasp of the invention herein is fabricated by bending and has a backing seat and, furthermore, formed above the backing seat is an insertion seat that provides for the inserting of the spring coils found on conventional wheel rim covers, and at the bend below the backing seat is a support base followed by a flexure to form a stop tab. Positioned on the backing seat, the support base and the stop tab is a slot and, furthermore, projecting from the interior surface of the trough formed by the insertion seat is a protrusion. The clasp is thereby enabled, following insertion into the mounting hole of the mounting base, to have an appropriate degree of tightness, while the inserted spring coil is enabled to be secured more stably.
