  • Publication number: 20080035735
Abstract: The identification device disclosed in the present invention is comprised of: a carrier; and a plurality of pseudo-pixels; wherein each of the plural pseudo-pixels is formed on the carrier and is further comprised of at least a light grating composed of a plurality of light grids. In a preferred aspect, each of the plural light grids is formed on the carrier while spacing from each other by a pitch ranged between 50nm and 900nm. As the aforesaid identification device can present specific colors and patterns while it is being viewed by naked eye with respect to a specific viewing angle, the identification device is preferred for security and anti-counterfeit applications since the specific colors and patterns will become invisible when it is viewed while deviating from the specific viewing angle.

  • Patent number: 6463649
Abstract: A disposal reaction module for providing a small amount of test agent to mix with a reaction agent for testing use. The module include a reaction chamber fluidly communicating with at least one test agent room. A piston in a gate room is located between the reaction chamber and the test agent room for controlling flow of test agent to the reaction chamber. The module may be made small size and portable to facilitate carrying. It is especially convenient and useful for field test use. People may do the test without direct contact with the reaction and test agents, and thus is safer to use than conventional method of using testing glasses and tubes.

  • Patent number: 6333507
Abstract: A system is designed to measure the concentration of a specific chemical composition of a fluid and is formed of a light generating device, a fluorescent light receiver, and a display. The light generating device emits an excitation light to cause a probe submerged in the fluid to emit fluorescent light, which is received by a photoelectric diode of the fluorescent light receiver and is than converted by the photoelectric diode into an electric current signal. The display receives the electric current signal, which is then converted by the display into the concentration of the specific chemical composition of the fluid. The information on the concentration of the specific chemical composition is exhibited on the display.

  • Patent number: 6284195
Abstract: This invention relates to a disposable reaction module, capable of permitting small amount of test agents to mix with a reaction agent, having at least one test agent room, a reaction chamber capable of making fluid communication with said test agent rooms, and at least a gate room, situated between the reaction chamber and the corresponding test agent room. A piston is provided for controlling the flow of test agent into the reaction chamber. Being portable, the module is suitable for field test applications, especially without direct human contact, the module offers safer operations over those using conventional tubes and glasses.
