Publication number: 20250164033Abstract: The present invention discloses a control valve diagnostics system (100) which comprises of a smart valve positioner (101) having an inbuilt accelerometer (101a), inbuilt non-contact position sensor (101b), an actuator (102), a power source (103), and the non-volatile memory (104). The smart valve positioner (101) is pre-installed with a non-contact position sensor for valve position measurement against maximum ‘g-force’ for a time interval of 5-20 milli seconds. The system (100) captures the ‘g-force’ continuously through inbuilt accelerometer (101a), where the system is powered by 2-wire 4-20 mA loop power or 2-wire fieldbus/profibus (103). The valve position at maximum ‘g-force’ value can be derived by comparing the previous and current ‘g-value’, and the generated data is saved in the non-volatile memory (104).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2023Publication date: May 22, 2025Inventor: Lijo Joseph THARAYIL

Patent number: 9642314Abstract: A plant stand includes one or more light subsystems and one or more corresponding plant holder subsystems. Each light subsystem includes two lighting devices for providing light to plants contained in a corresponding plant holder of a plant holder subsystem. The lighting devices are adapted to be tilted for adjusting the illumination projected onto the plants. The subsystems are attached to a frame supported by a stand subsystem sitting on a flat surface. The frame incorporates a top end for hanging the plant stand. The frame further incorporates multiple apertures for attaching the subsystems at different heights.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 2015Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Inventor: Lijo Joseph

Patent number: 7254216Abstract: A filter assembly for a computed tomographic imaging system includes first and second endplates at opposite ends of the filter assembly. Also provided is a first moveable subassembly that includes at least a first x-ray filter and which is configured to move along an axis perpendicular to the first endplate between the first the second endplates. A second moveable subassembly is also provided that includes at least a second x-ray filter. The second moveable subassembly is configured to move along an axis perpendicular to the second endplate between the first and second endplates. The first moveable subassembly and the second moveable subassembly are independently movable to provide at least a small bowtie x-ray filter, a large bowtie x-ray filter, a medium bowtie x-ray filter, a flat filter, and a closed position for a radiation source positioned in a fixed position relative to the filter assembly.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2005Date of Patent: August 7, 2007Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Lijo Joseph Thandiackal, Todd Everett Schueneman

Patent number: 6814488Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an X-ray generator capable of compensating for the volume expansion of an insulating oil without the necessity of labor-intensive maintenance. A tubular body is included to penetrate through a tank that is sealed while accommodating a high-voltage assembly and an X-ray tube assembly and having an insulating oil poured thereinto. The lumen of the tubular body opens onto the ambient space at both ends of the tubular body. The tubular body expands or contracts depending on a difference between the pressure in the lumen and the internal pressure of the tank.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2002Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: GE Medical Systems Global Technology Company, LLCInventors: Lijo Joseph Thandiackal, Denis Perrillat

Patent number: 6778634Abstract: It is an object to provide an X-ray generating apparatus which permits easy alignment of an X-ray tube and easy insulation against high voltages. A screw through hole and pin through holes corresponding respectively to a screw hole and plural pin holes formed in an end face of a base portion of an X-ray tube are formed in an abutment face of a bracket against which the end face of the base portion of the X-ray tube comes into abutment, and a screw and plural pins are inserted respectively from the bracket side into the screw hole and plural pin holes in the X-ray tube through the screw through hole and the pin through holes, thereby mounting the X-ray tube to the bracket. The bracket is formed by an integral structure of FR 4.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2002Date of Patent: August 17, 2004Assignee: GE Medical Systems Global Technology Company, LLCInventors: Lijo Joseph Thandiackal, Denis Perrillat

Patent number: 6775353Abstract: It is an X-ray generating apparatus having an X-ray shielding means superior in thermal conductivity. The X-ray generating apparatus comprises an X-ray tube, an X-ray tube container, and a support member which is constructed of an electrically insulating material and which supports the X-ray tube within the X-ray tube container, the X-ray tube container being constituted by a combination of copper alloy plates with lead incorporated therein and a plate of a composite material, the composite material being formed by laminating lead and epoxy laminated glass cloth sheets so as to include an intermediate layer of lead, the X-ray tube container having an aperture (for X-ray emission and containing the X-ray tube so as to prevent the emission of X-ray from any other portion than the aperture.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2002Date of Patent: August 10, 2004Assignee: GE Medical Systems Global Technology Company, LLCInventors: Lijo Joseph Thandiackal, Denis Perrillat, Balasubramannian Kandankumarath
