A relay unit is electrically connected to the load and to an output of the MCU. The MCU is programmed to selectively power the load by selectively passing control signals to the relay unit in response to commands received from the wireless network. When no signals are received from the wireless network, the remote control circuit may control the load, either directly or via the MCU.
