    Abstract: The present filing system comprises a filing case which may resemble a book with one or more open compartments in which is removably positioned an expanding file envelope which may have a flap on one end to conceal the corrugated edges of the expanding envelope. The envelope is compressed and slid into and out of the case and may be used to hold photographs, recipes, coupons or other material.
