Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for providing an instant messaging service associated with one or more item transactions. A first user interface screen associated with an item transaction may be provided in a chatroom interface of an executed messenger application. The first user interface screen may comprise an interfacing object associated with a list of user interface templates. Based on a user selection of the interface object and based at least one exposure condition associated with the list of user interface templates, at least one user interface template may be selected from the list of user interface templates for display in a second user interface screen of the executed messenger application. In a second user interface screen of the executed messenger application, a first user interface template of the at least one user interface template may be displayed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for displaying a gift card, and the method includes: receiving the gift card and gift information corresponding to the gift card from a server, wherein the gift card is associated with content information corresponding to at least one of a photo type, a video type, and a voice type; displaying a message comprising a first area and a second area separate from each other, wherein the gift information is displayed in the first area and a type of the content information is displayed in the second area; receiving an interaction for viewing the content information; displaying an output layout according to the gift information and the type of the content information; and outputting the content information through the output layout.

Abstract: A method of providing gift information by a server is proposed. The method may include receiving from a second user a gift provision request for sending a gift to a first user, and generating gift information in response to the gift provision request. The method may also include determining whether the second user is a blocked friend set by the first. The method may further include in response to determining that the second user is the blocked friend, providing the first user with blinded gift information corresponding to the gift information, wherein partial information out of the gift information is not shown in the blinded gift information. The method may further include in response to receiving an unblind request for the blinded gift information from the first user, providing the first user with the partial information out of the gift information.
