Publication number: 20240106089Abstract: Provided is a cylindrical lithium-ion battery including a negative cap and a cylindrical case. A jellyroll and a negative current collector are arranged inside the case. A sidewall of an end of the case is provided with an annular inwardly-concaved groove arranged circumferentially around a central axis of the case, and forms an annular protrusion at the inside of the case. The negative current collector is connected to a negative electrode of the j ellyroll. A portion, located below the annular inwardly-concaved groove, of the case is bent to form an annular engaging groove, an opening of the annular engaging groove faces the interior of the case, the periphery of the negative cap is arranged in the annular engaging groove, and a bottom surface of the negative cap and the annular engaging groove are connected in a sealed manner by laser welding.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Liming HUANG, Liangliang YUE, Jing LIU, Yuebin XU, Wei HE

Publication number: 20090200097Abstract: An electronic steering system for a vehicle includes a generally freely rotating steering column, a sensor for determining a rotational position of the steering column and a controller for turning tires on the vehicle based upon the rotational position of the steering column. When the vehicle is switched to one of various steer modes the controller electronically resets the rotational position of the steering column to a zero rotational position without physically turning the steering column. A steering brake limits over-rotation of the steering column to prevent the tires on the vehicle from turning beyond a safe distance. The controller electronically resets the rotational position of the steering brake when the steer mode is changed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2008Publication date: August 13, 2009Applicant: Wiggins Lift Co., Inc.Inventors: Bruce W. Farber, Liming Yue

Publication number: 20090200116Abstract: A multi-function joystick system controls forklift mast, tilt and fork functions. The system includes a single joystick pivotable about two axes and having first, second and third buttons and a trigger. Combinations of pivoting the joystick alone or in combination with pressing buttons and triggers performs eight forklift functions including negative lift/lower, free lift/lower, maximum lift/lower, tilt forward/backward, left fork left/right, right fork left/right, both forks left/right, and fork open/close.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2008Publication date: August 13, 2009Inventors: Michael M. Patent number: 7134527Abstract: A mast apparatus that includes a cross member assembly that permits an operator to see through portions of the assembly is provided. The cross member assembly includes upper and lower horizontal members that are slanted for general alignment with the line of sight of the operator. Moreover, some vertical stiffener members are removed thereby allowing a line of sight between the upper and lower horizontal members. To maintain structural strength, vertical stiffener members are added in the center portion and at the location of couplers or mounts for attachment to the lift hydraulic jacks.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2004Date of Patent: November 14, 2006Inventors: Mike Wiggins, Liming Yue

Patent number: 6785597Abstract: A process for monitoring load conditions on a lifting machine having a rated load moment includes determining an actual load moment of the lifting machine due a weighted load. The actual load moment may be determined by measuring a tilt pressure within a hydraulic tilt cylinder of the lifting machine, and then calculating the actual load moment from the tilt pressure within the hydraulic tilt cylinder. The location of a center of gravity of the weighted load is also determined by measuring a lift pressure within a hydraulic lift cylinder of the lifting machine, and then calculating the weight of the weighted load from the lift pressure. Once the weight is determined, the location of the center of gravity of the weighted load may be found using the actual load moment and the calculated weight.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2003Date of Patent: August 31, 2004Assignee: Wiggins Lift Co., Inc.Inventors: Bruce W. Farber, Liming Yue
