  • Patent number: 9024932
Abstract: A DC-DC converter with auto-switching between pulse width modulation (PWM) and pulse frequency modulation (PFM) is used in an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display and judges power consumption of an OLED array of the display according to display data of the display and thus determines a switching time between PWM and PFM. The converter comprises a content statistic unit, an auto-switching control unit, a PWM controller, a PFM controller and a power generator. The content statistic unit receives and accumulates the display data of the OLED display and then outputs a statistic value. The auto-switching control unit outputs a control signal according to the statistic value to control the PWM controller and the PFM controller and to switch to a PWM mode or a PFM mode.

  • Patent number: 8497844
Abstract: A capacitive touch panel has a plurality of first conductor lines and a plurality of second conductor lines. The first conductor lines are disposed in a first direction for sensing a contact with an object. The second conductor lines are disposed in a second direction to be intersected insulatively with the first conductor lines so as to define an overlapping region at each intersection of a first conductor line and a second conductor line. As a driving signal is applied to one of the second conductor lines, the overlapping region defined at the intersection forms a capacitance. Each of the first conductor lines defines at least one opening in each of the overlapping regions.

  • Patent number: 7400540
Abstract: A programmable memory includes N number of one-time programmable (OTP) memory rows, an output module, a judge module, and a write-in module. The output module receives all data of the OTP memory rows and generates output data. The judge module receives the output data and write-in data and generates write-in control data according to the output data and the write-in data. When a bit datum of the output data is different to a bit datum of the write-in data, the bit of the write-in control data is enabled. The write-in module receives the write-in control data and stores a preset bit datum in an unprogrammed OTP memory cell of an OTP memory row corresponding to the enabled bit.

  • Patent number: 7199575
Abstract: A TFT-LCD source driver with a built-in test circuit includes N driving units and P test units. Each driving unit receives digital data and generates an analog output signal according to the digital data. Each test unit receives the analog output signals, selects one of them as a test signal according to a select signal, and compares the test signal with a high reference voltage and a low reference voltage to output an indication signal. The indication signal is set to indicate an abnormal state as the voltage of the test signal is higher than the high reference voltage or lower than the low reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 6437614
Abstract: A low voltage reset circuit device without being influenced by temperature and manufacturing process is formed by a first low voltage reset circuit using an energy gap circuit to generate a reference voltage, and a second low voltage reset circuit using a threshold voltage of a MOS transistor as a reference voltage. The first low voltage reset circuit is used to provide an accurate low voltage reset property,. while the circuit only works as VDD>1.2V. When VDD<1.2V, the second low voltage reset circuit still works normally for providing the desired reset signal thereby covering the low VDD voltage range.
