  • Patent number: 11177593
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a connector that comprises a housing and wafers. The housing comprises a top wall and a bottom wall separated from each other in a mounting direction. The wafers are mated to the housing in a mating direction and supported by the housing. A first wafer is configured to be limited in the mounting direction. A second wafer is configured to be limited in the mating direction. A possible benefit from a match between a limiting block of the first wafer and a limiting groove of the housing and a match between the limiting block of the first wafer and a limiting opening of the housing is that the first wafer is less easy to move between the top wall and the bottom wall of the housing along the mounting direction and can be more firmly supported by the housing.

  • Patent number: 9492959
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for use in injection molding with the capability to have precise and adjustable control of the molten plastic flow when molding at least two (2) non-identical (i.e. with more than 50% difference in weight or form) or identical complex-shaped and intricate plastic parts at the same time, utilizing a mold with at least two (2) parting layers via a standard conventional injection machine. This invention incorporates the principle of having two (2) valve pins in which their movements are back-to-back and can be independently opened and closed as controlled by stepper, servo or linear motors linked to a separate independent tool controller. The two (2) valve pins are positioned at the floating half of the mold for sequential, stack or multi-layer mold with multiple cavities.

  • Patent number: 8834756
Abstract: The application provides a molding apparatus. The molding apparatus comprises a first mold-defining member together with a second mold-defining member, one or more channels, and one or more moveable cores. The first mold-defining member together with the second mold-defining member defines an internal cavity. The channels comprise inlets for receiving molten resin and outlets to the internal cavity. The moveable cores are moveable between a first position and a second position, wherein the moveable core in the second position reduces a volume of the internal cavity and closes the channel outlets. The moveable core is also independently moveable with respect to the first mold-defining member and with respect to the second mold-defining member.

  • Publication number: 20100098691
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cancer as well as methods of treatment of cancer that are based on the finding that certain benzimidazole based anti-cancer agents can be used in combination with a second anti-cancer agent to achieve desirable therapeutic outcomes. More specifically the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition including a benzimidazole based anti-cancer agent and a second anti-cancer agent. The invention also relates to methods of treatment of cancer including administration of a benzimidazole based anti-cancer agent and a second anti-cancer agent to a patient in need thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070248261
Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods are provided by which multiple persons in remote physical locations can collaboratively interactively visualize a 3D data set substantially simultaneously. In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, there can be, for example, a main workstation and one or more remote workstations connected via a data network. A given main workstation can be, for example, an augmented reality surgical navigation system, or a 3D visualization system, and each workstation can have the same 3D data set loaded. Additionally, a given workstation can combine real-time imagining with previously obtained 3D data, such as, for example, real-time or pre-recorded video, or information such as that provided by a managed 3D ultrasound visualization system.
