  • Patent number: 9433932
Abstract: A hydrogenation catalyst is provided. The hydrogenation catalyst has a nanonickel carrier, and noble metal nanoparticles selected from Pd, Pt, Ru, Rh, or a mixture thereof, which are mounted onto the nanonickel carrier. Moreover, a method of manufacturing a hydrogenation catalyst is provided, and has steps of (1) preparing an aqueous solution containing nickel ions; (2) adding a first reducing agent in the aqueous solution containing nickel ions to form a reactant solution; (3) applying a magnetic field to the reactant solution for a first duration to obtain a nanonickel carrier; (4) preparing a noble metal solution; and (5) placing the nanonickel carrier in the noble metal solution for a second duration so that noble metal nanoparticles are mounted onto the nanonickel carrier.

  • Publication number: 20150034860
Abstract: A method of fabricating a composite membranes containing a metal ion adsorbent, the method comprising the following steps: mixing a metal ion adsorbent powder and a solvent to form a mixture, wherein the solvent is capable of dissolving cellulose; mixing the mixture and cellulose to form a gel blend; removing the solvent from the gel blend, and drying the gel blend to obtain a composite membrane containing a metal ion adsorbent. By means of mixing metal ion adsorbent and cellulose by phase inversion to obtain the composite membrane containing a metal ion adsorbent, the composite membrane containing a metal ion adsorbent can remove heavy metal ions from industrial wastewater.

  • Patent number: 8038505
Abstract: A brassiere cup and pad structure is revealed. The brassiere cup and pad structure consists of two outer linings made from polypropylene and an inner padding made from the same material-polypropylene. By the polypropylene with low melting point, the dye degradation on the outer lining caused by high temperature during foaming processes can be avoided. Thus the amount of defective products in which the outer lining have spots resulted from degraded dyes is reduced. Moreover, the shortcoming of general inner padding made from foam that is easy to turn yellow over time is improved effectively.

  • Patent number: 6362748
Abstract: The license plate number of a specific vehicle is related to a passcode that is built into a communications reception unit installed in the vehicle. When a driver enters a plate number of the vehicle having the communication reception unit installed, he can communicate with another vehicle. The communication reception unit can receive satellite positioning signals to provide more accurate coordinates to a control center, which can determine the position of the vehicle and send accurate, useful and relevant information to the vehicle.
