Abstract: A catalyst comprising a Group IIIA metal, a Group VIII noble metal, and an optional promoter metal, on a support selected from silica, alumina, silica-alumina compositions, rare earth modified alumina, and combinations thereof, doped with iron, a Group VIB metal, a Group VB metal, or a combination thereof, offers decreased reactivation time under air soak in comparison with otherwise identical catalysts. Reducing reactivation time may, in turn, reduce costs, both in inventory and capital.

Abstract: A computer processor accesses QA forum activity associated with users of a QA forum, wherein the QA forum activity contains historical questions, historical answers, and profiles, each having elements including QA forum information. The processor accesses historical online social activity corresponding to the users of the QA forum, each historical online social activity having elements including at least social activity information. The processor performs a first similarity calculation and selects an at least one model answerer based on the similarity between elements of a question on the QA forum, and the elements of the QA forum activity associated and corresponding to each of the users of the QA forum. Based on a second similarity calculation, the processor determines a similarity between the QA forum user elements and the at least one model answerer elements, and identifies at least one prospect answerer from the QA forum users.

Abstract: Embodiments include a program product and a method for providing responses to questions provided on a social media site. The method includes receiving, via a processor, a user question from a social networking site and decomposing and filtering the user question so that it can be further analyzed. The method also includes generating a list of most closely matched potential responders based on analysis of the user question and sending the most closely matched potential responders the user question. Upon receiving responses back from the most closest matched potential responders, these responses are aggregated by the processor in a final response format.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are described including collecting network information, determining an association, bandwidth allocation and routing scheme based on the collected network information, notifying a mesh access point of the association, the bandwidth allocation and the routing scheme and notifying a client node of its association information. Also described are a method and apparatus including measuring link quality and channel conditions, reporting results of the measuring act to a controller, receiving a routing decision and data forwarding instructions from the controller and forwarding the routing decision and the data forwarding instructions to a client node. Further described are a method and apparatus including measuring link quality and channel conditions, reporting results of the measuring act to a controller, receiving association instructions from the centralized controller and updating previously stored association instructions with the received association instructions.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for handling client computing device requests with adaptive rule loading and session control. The mechanisms partition a set of rules, into a plurality of filter sets with each filter set having a different subset of the set of rules and being directed to identifying a different type of attack on a backend application or service. A subset of filter sets is selected to be used to validate client computing device requests received from client computing devices. The selected filter sets are applied to requests and/or responses to requests. The mechanisms dynamically modify which filter sets are included in the subset of filter sets based on an adaptive reinforcement learning operation on results of applying the selected filter sets to the requests and/or responses to requests.

Abstract: A process for dehydrogenating alkane or alkylaromatic compounds comprising contacting the given compound and a dehydrogenation catalyst in a fluidized bed. The dehydrogenation catalyst is prepared from an at least partially deactivated platinum/gallium catalyst on an alumina-based support that is reconstituted by impregnating it with a platinum salt solution, then calcining it at a temperature from 400° C. to 1000° C., under conditions such that it has a platinum content ranging from 1 to 500 ppm, based on weight of catalyst; a gallium content ranging from 0.2 to 2.0 wt %; and a platinum to gallium ratio ranging from 1:20,000 to 1:4. It also has a Pt retention that is equal to or greater than that of a fresh catalyst being used in a same or similar catalytic process.

Abstract: A self-capacitive touch panel including two sensing regions is provided. Each of the sensing regions includes a first sensing channel, a second sensing channel, a border electrode and multiple central electrodes. The border electrode utilizes the first sensing channel exclusively. The central electrodes share the second sensing channel. The border electrode has a first centroid, which represents a position where a capacitance change contributed by the border electrode occurs. The central electrodes have a second centroid, which represents a position where a capacitance change contributed by the central electrode occurs. An average distance from the first centroid to all possible touch points in the border electrodes is shorter than an average distance from the second centroid to all possible touch points in the central electrodes.

Abstract: According to embodiments of the present invention, a computing device provides a security rules subset of a server-side protection element to a pre-validation component deployed at a client side. The computing device validates the user input based on the security rules. The computing device determines, in response to detecting a user input violation and that a violated security rule has/or has not been provided to the pre-validation component, the user as a first or second class of users. The computing device performs different security protection actions to the first and second class of users. The computing device asynchronously performs a dynamic update to the security rule subset provided to the pre-validation component. The security rule subset is screened from the security rules of the server-side protection means. A policy for screening the security rule subset is selected.

The method includes: blocking a response created by a Web application; modifying the response by adding capturing code for capturing a regular expression and an associated parameter value embedded in the response while being executed; sending the modified response to the browser; receiving a request submitted by the browser and at least one regular expression and an associated parameter value captured by the capturing code; determining a parameter name and a regular expression associated with the same parameter value, and configuring the rule file of the firewall by use of the determined parameter name and regular expression associated with one another as a filtering rule.

Abstract: A supported catalyst and process for dehydrogenating a hydrocarbon, the catalyst comprising a first component selected from the group consisting of tin, germanium, lead, indium, gallium, thallium, and compounds thereof; a second component selected from the group consisting of metals of Group 8 of the Periodic Table of the Elements and compounds thereof, and a support comprising alumina in the gamma crystalline form. The catalysts are especially active and efficient when employed in concurrent flow in a dehydrogenation reactor having an average contact time between the hydrocarbon and catalyst of from 0.5 to 10 seconds.

The plurality of security rules each specify at least one action to be taken in response to a given condition. Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for reconstructing a response message to an improper accessing request in a web application environment. The method includes: obtaining the URL of a web application to be accessed by the improper accessing request and the error parameter information of the improper accessing request; obtaining a response template based on the obtained URL of the web application to be accessed; and merging the obtained error parameter information of the improper accessing request with the obtained response template to generate a reconstructed response message for the improper accessing request. The system includes: a message obtaining device; a response message template obtaining device; and a response message merging device.
