Abstract: A cartridge for a vapour generating system, such as an e-cigarette, includes a vaporization chamber in which liquid is vaporized from a heater surface to mix with a flow of air through the vaporization chamber. Before reaching an air outlet, the airflow must pass through a restriction means such as a narrow neck, which helps to prevent droplets of re-condensed liquid leaking out of the air outlet. The restriction means also provides a convenient way to determine the distribution of air pressure along the airflow path and the overall resistance to draw of the vapour generating system.

Abstract: A cartridge for a vapour generating system, such as an e-cigarette, includes a vaporization chamber in which liquid is vaporized from a heater surface to mix with a flow of air through the vaporization chamber. An inlet channel between an air inlet and the vaporization chamber is convoluted such that it follows at least two directions transverse to the length of the cartridge and provides no straight path for condensed liquid in the vaporization chamber to leak back out of the air inlet. Because the inlet channel enters the vaporization chamber in a transverse direction, the airflow through the chamber is substantially parallel to the heater surface and promotes even vaporization of liquid across the whole area of the surface.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a supporting bracket, a locking member, and a holding mechanism. The supporting bracket is fixed to a slide rail and includes two inserting pins extending through the two corresponding through holes of a rack post. The locking member is slidably mounted to the supporting bracket. When the locking member slides to abut against a front surface of the rack post, the slide rail is prevented from moving backwards to make the inserting pins disengage from the through holes. When the locking member slides to space away from the rack post, the slide rail is enable to move backwards to make the inserting pins disengage from the through holes. The holding mechanism abuts against the locking member to prevent the locking member from sliding. The holding mechanism is operable to move away from the locking member.

The first rail includes a holding portion. The positioning member engages with the holding portion to prevent the second rail from sliding into or out of the first rail. By sliding the releasing member, the releasing member drives the positioning member to disengage from the holding portion of the first rail, thereby enabling the second rail to slide into or out of the first rail.

The positioning member is mounted to a second side of the frame opposite to the first side and capable of sliding toward the first side of the frame. A number of cutouts are longitudinally defined in the second side of the frame. A receiving space is defined in a side of the positioning member for fixing a second end of the expansion card. The fixing member is mounted to the positioning member and selectively fixed to a corresponding cutout of the frame.
