Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for transitioning between different realities. The distance of the objects from a reference point in the first and second reality environments is determined. For example, the distance of the object's location in the first reality environment from a reference point (e.g., camera system) as well as the distance of the object's location in the second reality environment from the reference point is determined. A determination is made as to whether the likelihood of a transition shock event (e.g., motion sickness) occurring as a user transitions between the first and second reality environments exceeds a threshold value. In response to the likelihood of the transition shock event occurring exceeding the threshold value, the distance of the object from the reference point in the first and/or second reality environments is modified so as to prevent users from experiencing transition shocks when transitioning between realities.

The method includes providing a to-be-etched layer; forming an initial mask layer over the to-be-etched layer; forming a patterned structure, on the initial mask layer and exposing a portion of the initial mask layer; forming a barrier layer on a sidewall surface of the patterned structure; using the patterned structure and the barrier layer as a mask, performing an ion doping process on the initial mask layer to form a doped region and an un-doped region between doped regions in the initial mask layer; removing the patterned structure and the barrier layer; and forming a mask layer on a top surface of the to-be-etched layer by removing the un-doped region. The mask layer includes a first opening exposing the top surface of the to-be-etched layer.

An ultraviolet curing device is used for optical UV curing of the continuous geometric structure to create a brightness enhancement layer.

A first portion of content from a first digital item and a second portion of content from a second digital item are selected from a collection of digital items received via a digital item network. The first portion and second portion are related to the topic based on the set of generated tags. An approval action (e.g., likes) is performed between the first portion and second portion.

Abstract: Initiating a communication group of devices using device vibration includes encoding a message into a vibration signal using an encoder in a master device, the message including a connection request. A vibration pattern is emitted using a vibration motor by controlling the vibration motor to vibrate with a pattern corresponding to modulations of the vibration signal to send the message through a medium in contact with the master device. A response vibration pattern is received from responding devices using a sensor, the response vibration pattern carrying a response message. The response vibration pattern is decoded with a decoder of the master device to extract the response message from the response vibration pattern. A communication group is established at a host according to the response message for communication between the master device and the responding devices.
