  • Publication number: 20110267544
Abstract: Described is perceptually near-lossless video summarization for use in maintaining video summaries, which operates to substantially reconstruct an original video in a generally perceptually near-lossless manner. A video stream is summarized with little information loss by using a relatively very small piece of summary metadata. The summary metadata comprises an image set of synthesized mosaics and representative keyframes, audio data, and the metadata about video structure and motion. In one implementation, the metadata is computed and maintained (e.g., as a file) to summarize a relatively large video sequence, by segmenting a video shot into subshots, and selecting keyframes and mosaics based upon motion data corresponding to those subshots. The motion data is maintained as a semantic description associated with the image set.

  • Publication number: 20110189961
Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus based on motion identification are disclosed. The method includes detecting and identifying a change of a position status of a data transmission apparatus, detecting, by the data transmission apparatus, a target apparatus when the change of the position status is determined to be a predefined motion, and establishing, by the data transmission apparatus, a connection with the target apparatus and performing, by the data transmission apparatus, a data transmission, if the target apparatus is detected. The data transmission method does not operate through an interface, but can trigger a data transmission apparatus to detect a target apparatus and to perform a data transmission by only identifying a motion of the data transmission apparatus. Thus, the operation of data transmission can be simplified, and a user-friendly operation method can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20080160467
Abstract: A combustion apparatus 1 includes an intermediate member 6 constituted by a premixer 2 and a burner port assembly 3 and an air passage member 5, the intermediate member 6 being interposed between two air passage members 5. Fuel gas flows into an opening row part 10. The opening row part 10 has a number of openings 8 arranged linearly, so that the fuel gas introduced into the row part 10 is uniformly discharged through each of the openings 8. The fuel gas discharged through the openings 8 of the row part 10 bumps into air at mixing spaces 39. Fuel gas discharged through slots is homogenous and uniform in flow rate. Fuel gas produces a primary flame in a first combustion part 46 to perform a primary combustion. Unburned combustible components are discharged outside through openings of the first combustion part 46 and produce a secondary flame with air supplied through the distal end portion of the air passage member 5.

  • Publication number: 20070251467
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a combustion apparatus capable of certainly detecting a shortage of an amount of air relative to that of fuel gas. A combustion apparatus 1 is adapted to perform a primary combustion of air-fuel mixture in an oxygen-deficient condition composed of mixture of primary air and fuel gas and further perform a secondary combustion upon supply of secondary air 67, including a first ion current measuring element 65 positioned at a site where a flame of the primary combustion is to take place and a second ion current measuring element 66 adjacent to a secondary air supply opening 20, 21, 63, or 64 for supplying the secondary air 67, so as to control at least one selected from a group consisting of (a) a ratio of an amount of the primary air to that of the secondary air, (b) a total amount of the primary and the secondary air, and (c) an amount of the fuel gas based on measured values by the first and the second ion current measuring elements 65 and 66.

  • Patent number: 6602933
Abstract: In-organic fillers are modified by in-situ co-polymerization of vinyl silane and another vinyl monomer. Vinyl silane couples with the filler by Si—O bonds. The remaining vinyl groups on the surface of the treated fillers then co-polymerize with the other vinyl monomer. The modified in-organic fillers treated by the in-situ co-polymerization are subsequently used to fill the polymer matrix. Tensile and impact strength of filler-reinforced polymer composites are improved remarkably.
