  • Patent number: 6973311
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of relocating a serving radio network controller (RNC) in a radio telecommunication system for switching a first RNC which is assigning radio and network resources to a user equipment (UE) to a second RNC replacing the first RNC for assigning radio and network resources to the UE continuously. The radio telecommunication system also comprises a core network which comprises a plurality of serving GPRS support node (SGSN). The first RNC is coupled to a first SGSN of the plurality of SGSNs. The second RNC is coupled to a second SGSN of the plurality of SGSNs. The method of the invention mainly performs the routing path switch between the SGSN and the RNC in the SGSN level, and is used in two modes: intra-SGSN mode and inter-SGSN mode.

  • Publication number: 20040129599
Abstract: A cosmetic case comprises a main body and drawer. The main body has a box and a cover pivoted on the box, wherein the box has a receiving chamber at a top side thereof and the cover has a slot at an interior side thereof with a mirror fixed in the slot. The box further has a chamber at a bottom side thereof which is open at a front end thereof and two rails on the sidewalls of the chamber. The drawer is slidably received in the chamber of the box to be pushed into or drawn out from the chamber which has two slots engaged with the rails of the box and has at least a receiving chamber at a top side thereof. The box and the drawer further provide ribs and recesses respectively to secure the drawer when it is pushed into the chamber of the box totally.

  • Patent number: 6511329
Abstract: A connector assembled in a mobile phone for transmitting signals and battery charging comprises a dielectric housing, a plurality of conductive terminals, and a plurality of charge terminals. The mean feature of the present invention is: a pair of alignment holes is defined in the dielectric housing at a mating direction for being assembled to housings of the mobile phone. The terminals of the connector elastically contact with a circuit board of the mobile phone. Each terminal includes a first contacting portion for contacting with a mating connector and a second contacting portion. The second contacting portion has an elastic end for contacting with a corresponding pad on the circuit board for transmitting signals. A waterproof layer is fill in a side of the dielectric housing where the terminals are assembled. A waterproof gasket is assembled to surround mating portion of the dielectric housing. Therefore, the connector assembled in the mobile phone and the terminals thereof are reliably waterproofed.

  • Patent number: 6295159
Abstract: A new method is proposed and demonstrated effectively in reducing the coercive field and internal field in association with bulk periodical poling of the congruent grown ferro-electric nonlinear optical crystal. By adequate doping with zinc oxide, the coercive field required for achieving 180° domain reversal and the internal field associated with the non-stoichiometric point defects in undoped congruent grown ferro-electric nonlinear optical crystals can be reduced by an order of magnitude.
