  • Patent number: 10962298
Abstract: A two-phase thermodynamic system includes a porous microstructure sheet to increase an aggregate thin-film evaporation area of a working fluid. The porous microstructure sheet may be disposed at a liquid-vapor boundary of the working fluid. The porous microstructure sheet has “micro” pores through which the working fluid flows from a liquid flow path on one side of the porous microstructure sheet to a vapor flow path on the other side of the porous microstructure sheet. Individual pores induce the working fluid to form thin-film evaporation regions. The porous microstructure sheet may have a pore density so as to increase an aggregate thin-film evaporation area of the working fluid. In this way, the overall thermal resistance across all liquid-vapor interfaces (menisci) of the working fluid is substantially decreased over conventional vapor chamber.

  • Patent number: 10963497
Abstract: A query parsing system uses a multi-stage process to parse the text of incoming queries before attempting to answer the queries. The multi-stage configuration involves a first trained classifier to determine the query type, or intent, of the text and a plurality of second trained classifiers, where each of the second trained classifiers is configured particularly for one specific respective query type. During query processing, the first trained classifier is used on the text to identify the query type. A second trained classifier for that specific identified query type is then found and used on the text to identify what strings in the text correspond to specific entities needed to resolve the query. The identified text strings and query type are then placed into a form understandable by a knowledge base and sent to the knowledge base for resolution. The classifiers may be trained using queries and answers previously processed by the knowledge base using a rules/template resolution process.

  • Patent number: 10965604
Abstract: Techniques for implementing deadlock avoidance in a leaf-spine network are described. In one embodiment, a method includes monitoring traffic of a plurality of packets at a leaf switch in a network having a leaf-spine topology. The method includes marking a packet with an identifier associated with an inbound uplink port of the leaf switch when the packet is received from one of a first spine switch and a second spine switch. The method includes detecting a valley routing condition upon determining that the packet marked with the identifier is being routed to an outbound uplink port of the leaf switch to be transmitted to the first spine switch or the second spine switch. Upon detecting the valley routing condition, the method includes dropping packets associated with a no-drop class of service when a packet buffer of the inbound uplink port reaches a predetermined threshold.
