Abstract: An electrode for epidermical use for stimulation, iontophoresis, monitoring and grounding electrical contact applications to the skin may be provided having a self-adhesive, disposable, skin interface portion and a non-disposable backer portion, which is easily strippable from the skin interface portion; whereof the interface portion may be a cohesive and electrically conductive material having adhesive properties and the backer portion may be a durable, flexible and resilient material to which the interface portion may normally be adhered and through which an electrical connection may be made to the interface portion, the backer portion and interface portion being cleanly strippable from one another after use.
