  • Patent number: 10356103
Abstract: A system and method for providing secure access to electronic records. A processor receives, from a first client, a first request to access the electronic records, authenticates the first client, and provides access to the electronic records in response to determining that the first client is authenticated. The processor receives user input data from the first client and stores the user input data in association with the electronic records. The processor further receives from a second client a second request to access the electronic records, retrieves the user input data associated with the electronic records in response to the second request, and transmits a prompt to the second client in response to the retrieved user input data. The processor also receives an answer to the prompt and provides access to the electronic records in response to the answer.

  • Publication number: 20180060871
Abstract: A system and method for providing secure access to electronic records. The system authenticates a user associated with the electronic records, receives a request to access the electronic records, and provides access to the electronic records in response to authenticating the user. The system also receives user input data and updates the electronic records based on the user input data. The system further monitor a trigger condition associated with the user input data, and transmits a notification in response to detecting the trigger condition. The trigger condition may be, for example, an interaction with a device associated with a particular business entity.

  • Publication number: 20170191429
Abstract: A system includes an air/fuel imbalance (AFIM) control module that determines a position of a wastegate, selectively opens the wastegate in response to a determination that the wastegate is not in a desired open position, and selectively generates an enable signal in response to a determination that the wastegate is in the desired open position. An AFIM calculation module receives an oxygen signal from an oxygen sensor positioned in fluid communication with exhaust flow from the wastegate and selectively calculates an AFIM in a cylinder bank of an engine based on the oxygen signal and the enable signal generated by the AFIM control module.

  • Patent number: 8166752
Abstract: An exhaust gas cooling apparatus and method for cooling an exhaust gas is provided. The exhaust cooling apparatus having a first fluid conduit having a variable nozzle opening disposed at one end of the first fluid conduit, the variable nozzle opening being defined by a shape memory alloy extending from the first fluid conduit; and a second fluid conduit having an inlet end and an outlet end, the variable nozzle opening being disposed in the second fluid conduit proximate to the inlet end of the second fluid conduit such that a fluid inlet opening is disposed about an outer periphery of the variable nozzle opening and an inner surface of the inlet end of the second fluid conduit, the shape memory alloy varying the size of the variable nozzle opening by moving toward or away from a center line of the first fluid conduit in response to a temperature of an exhaust gas flowing through the first fluid conduit.

  • Patent number: 8043394
Abstract: A particulate matter (PM) filter assembly includes a PM filter that filters PM from an exhaust stream and that includes an entry face facing a first direction of flow of the exhaust stream, and a swirl element disposed in the exhaust stream and that includes a blade that directs a portion of the exhaust stream in a second direction of flow that is different than the first direction of flow. The blade directs the portion of the exhaust stream to distribute the exhaust stream over a frontal area of the entry face of the PM filter. A related method of filtering particulate matter from an exhaust stream is also provided.
