The gamma-secretase inhibitor can be a dipeptide class, sulfonamide class, transition state mimic class, benzodiazepine class, or benzocaprolactam class gamma secretase inhibitor. Methods for initiating and increasing angiogenesis are used for disease prevention and treatment as well as for generating research models.
