Patent number: 11514491Abstract: According to some embodiments, an invoice data store contains electronic records for invoices associated with customers and an enterprise. An electronic invoicing system computer server may receive invoice data (associated with a customer of the enterprise) from remote invoice platforms, and the server may create invoice documents in first and second formats based on information in the invoice data store. It may be determined that the invoice documents represent “work in process” and, as a result, the system may prevent the invoice documents from being transmitted to a customer device. An adjustment to the invoice document in an intermediate format is received and the invoice document in at least one of the first and second format is automatically updated. When it is later determined that the invoice documents no longer represent “work in process,” the system electronically transmits the invoice documents to the customer device.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2022Date of Patent: November 29, 2022Assignee: HARTFORD FIRE INSURANCE COMPANYInventors: Cynthia D Finley, Linda L. Ternullo, Manuela Panno, Antonio Jorge, Benjamin D. Arunski, Lakshmi Elango, Mary N. Udeh, David S. Fuller, John J Sedor

Patent number: 10616373Abstract: According to some embodiments, systems, methods, apparatus, computer program code and means may receive data streams from remote third-party administrator computer servers. A back-end application computer server may receive a set of requests from a first third-party administrator computer server, each request being associated with a request value. The back-end application server may retrieve a first set of pre-determined rules and automatically apply them to the set of requests, resulting in an adjusted request value and an overall value. The back-end computer server may then automatically transmit a settlement instruction, including the overall value, to an electronic transaction system, and render a transaction activity report display via a remote computer device, associated with the first third-party administrator computer server, including information about the set of requests, the adjusted request value along with an indication of a reason for the adjustment, and the overall value.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2019Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: Hartford Fire Insurance CompanyInventors: Stephen Juan, Cynthia D Finley, Linda L.
