Abstract: A system for chemotherapy delivery comprises a plurality of slots to receive a corresponding one of a plurality of cartridges; a plurality of pumps, wherein each of the plurality of pumps is configured to be connected to the corresponding one of the plurality of cartridges, and the plurality of pumps are configured to pump at least one drug contained in at least one of the plurality of cartridges to a patient according to a treatment protocol; a blood glucose sensor communicatively coupled to the plurality of pumps, and configured to measure a blood glucose level of the patient; a processor connected to the plurality of pumps and the blood glucose sensor and configured to adjust a delivery property of the at least one drug according to the measured blood glucose level of the patient.

Abstract: Methods for treating cancer comprising administering a metabolic targeting chemo-immunotherapy regimen are provided herein. In one embodiment, the metabolic targeting chemo-immunotherapy regimen may include steps of administering a therapeutically effective dose of one or more immunologic agents (e.g., a therapeutic antibody) to stimulate an immune response in a subject having cancer; reducing the patient's blood glucose level; and administering a therapeutically effective dose of one or more chemotherapeutic agents. The methods described herein may be used to treat any type of cancer, especially malignant and metastatic late stage cancers.
