  • Publication number: 20230325514
Abstract: The disclosed implementations include a computer-implemented method of a controls framework to monitor multiple controls of multiple processes. The method can include linking the multiple controls in a hierarchical arrangement with and obtaining information about compliance by a particular subsystem, a particular process, or a particular sub-process of the organization with a particular control. The method can further include generating a risk measure for the organization based on information about a quantity of controls, types of control, failure, or noncompliance with the particular control and communicating, by the central management component to a computing device coupled to the system, at least an indication of the risk measure.

  • Patent number: 6685186
Abstract: A multi-layer puzzle having a base with a perimeter portion and a cavity that depicts a theme. Jigsaw puzzle layers are disposed within the cavity and have scenes related to the theme. The multi-layer puzzle may have one or more independent pieces which are cut out as a complete piece painted on both sides to be used as an independent play figure for the user to act out the story or theme. The multi-layer puzzle may have one or more blank unpainted complete layers for the user to add their own scene with paints or markers. The multi-layer puzzle may have one or more blank unpainted jigsaw pieces cut in the complete form for the user to create his/her own independent play figure using paints or markers. The puzzle may be in “book” form with multi-layer puzzles used in multiples to tell a story.

  • Publication number: 20030093371
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for the payment of a recipient and a sub-recipient. One approach includes using a server computer to receive and store from a recipient an amount of an expected total disbursement, an amount of a sub-recipient portion of the expected total disbursement, and an authorization to pay the sub-recipient portion directly to the sub-recipient. This approach may further include receiving from a sender a gross disbursement for payment to the recipient and determining whether the amount of the gross disbursement received from the sender matches the amount of the total disbursement expected by the recipient. If these two amounts match, a payment server is instructed to make a direct payment to the recipient of the expected total disbursement, less the amount of the sub-recipient portion. The payment server is also instructed to make a direct payment to the sub-recipient of the sub-recipient portion.
